I305KD
^ Looks like the water in RCT2. But it really doesn't look good. Terraform, trees, shrubs, etc. will really help out the entire park. I would also suggest adding more building to some areas of the park. Overall, it's a decent beginning. Good Luck!
goldiehound
I forgot to say it but before it was Six Flags Florida Escape, it was a green park. Â Welcome back to Six Flags Florida Escape! Shot0449.bmp I talked to one of my friends and he said that red coaster was supposed to open with the park but during a storm the little part of the lift collapsed. Shot0450.bmp The ride is going to open in August as Big Bend. That's only a little more than a month away. Shot0451.bmp It looked really good from the log flume. Shot0452.bmp I took this picture from the bricks, the trees were mostly taken down in the area. Shot0453.bmp To keep the water from flooding on the Runaway Mine Train, they use filters. Have a nice day.
goldiehound
PLEASE COMMENT Â Welcome back to Six Flags Florida Escape! Shot0506.bmp Time for another great day. Shot0507.bmp This is a great place to get ice cream and cotton candy. Shot0508.bmp I remember coming here as a kid when it was a green park but this is better. Shot0509.bmp I love the tree through the tower look. Shot0511.bmp I think this shot should be on a postcard. Shot0512.bmp Say hi to Big Bend. A new electric sign which has been dark for a week is finally on. I knew that extra path there was for something. Shot0513.bmp The quene line from the train. Shot0515.bmp I remember when I could see the ride from here. Shot0516.bmp We can't forget about the other coaster, Runaway Mine Train. Shot0517.bmp It was a nice day and remember, Big Bend opens next week and MORE COMMENTS.
QueerRudie
Re: Big Bend: Â You might want to re-think some of that design, and bank it more; Speedracers used heavy banking as part of the 'thrill' factor, as well as having very little unbanked track along the course. Â A good example are the Whizzer twins. RCDB, as well as many other sites, have some excellent pictures of how a Speedracer was built. Also, look at the Jumbo Jet II model, which is closest to what you are trying to duplicate. Â R.D.

goldiehound
Welcome back to Six Flags Florida Escape! Â August 17th started out as a day sleeping but then I realized that Big Bend opened today so I got up and went to Florida Escape. Â Here is a P.O.V. of Big Bend. Â Shot0520.bmp The fence's went down, say hi to Big Bend. Shot0524.bmp One last test run. Shot0525.bmp All ready. Shot0530.bmp There they go, into the wild red yonder. Shot0531.bmp Down the drop. Shot0532.bmp Around the turn. Shot0533.bmp Into the helix. Shot0534.bmp Into the break run. Shot0535.bmp Big Bend is a great ride.

goldiehound
Welcome back to Six Flags Florida Escape! Shot0543.bmp Welcome back! Shot0544.bmp For the first time, I ran to the carousel. Shot0545.bmp Next, I went to the tea cups. Shot0546.bmp Big Bend is still doing great. Shot0538.bmp It started to rain so I ran to the Corner Cafe. Shot0539.bmp Those who were on Florida Splasher, got an extra serving of rain. Shot0547.bmp Here we go! Shot0549.bmp High five! Shot0552.bmp I went to the Scrambler next. goldiehound
Welcome back to Six Flags Florida Escape! Shot0555.bmp I love the midway, it has all these cool buildings. It's sad to realize the park closes in a month. I hope November never comes. Shot0556.bmp Parachute Tower is really fun. Shot0557.bmp I love the view from the top of the ride. Shot0562.bmp In 1974, I award Everglade Autos as the longest line in the park. Shot0563.bmp Out of the tunnel. Shot0565.bmp Ready for the cliffhanger drop I call it. Shot0564.bmp I wonder what the 1975 ride is. Do they consider Big Bend the 1975 ride or are we going to get something. Comment on what you think it is below. QueerRudie
Florida parks, from as early as I can remember, have been year round. BGT (early 60s) and Disney (1971) have been round, as was Cypress Gardens (1943)- not to mention some of the other smaller attractions therein. BGT (early 60s) and Disney (1971) have been round, as was Cypress Gardens (1943)- not to mention some of the other smaller attractions therein. Exactly. goldiehound
Voxelmatic, remind me to do the Six Flags Florida Escape Ratings fourm tomorrow. Â Welcome back to Six Flags Florida Escape! Shot0570.bmp Finally back, the park decided due to work on the area by the Runaway Mine Train that the park would be closed from November to Janurary. Shot0571.bmp A new ride? Shot0572.bmp It is kind of hidden from the Parachute Tower. Shot0573.bmp Big Bend is still a great ride, I wish the park was staying open this season but only two months, that is good. Shot0574.bmp Florida Splasher is done for the season. Shot0575.bmp The totem pole on the Runaway Mine Train. Shot0576.bmp I got the last train ride, see you tomorrow for the announcement for the 1975 ride.

goldiehound
Ride Ratings  Runaway Mine Train Excitement: 5.79 Intensity: 3.52 Nausea: 1.79  Big Bend Excitement: 6.35 Intensity: 2.97 Nausea: 1.55  For 1975, Six Flags Florida Escape will be adding a new transportation ride called the sky ride which will take guests from the Thunder Bobs to Everglade Autos. Also a new restaurant across from the Runaway Mine Train and a draping in Runaway Mine Train's line will be new for 1975. Shot0581.bmp Sky Ride! Shot0649.bmp The cars, they are sort of like Parachute Falls cars. Shot0650.bmp The draping.
coastin
Not to be rude, but that Sky Ride looks to be the biggest waste of money. It only goes across a small piece of land.... Most Sky Rides stretch across the park.
goldiehound
The park is finally open again. Shot0654.bmp Sky Ride's line by Everglade Auto's started to fill quickly. Shot0655.bmp The employee said that the Sky Ride was supposed to strech by Everglade Auto's but they might have a future expansion. Shot0659.bmp This view isn't the same. Shot0660.bmp "Hi over there." Shot0662.bmp I love the view of the park from up there. Shot0663.bmp Those are two happy riders. Shot0666.bmp Since I was at the other side of the park, I went to Big Bend. Shot0665.bmp Runaway Mine Train next. Shot0683.bmp Last, I stopped at the new restaurant and it was great. goldiehound
Welcome back to Six Flags Florida Escape. Shot0684.bmp I would like to start the update with an overview of the whole park. Shot0685.bmp Big Bend was first. Shot0686.bmp Florida Splasher was closed due to a problem with the lift system. Shot0687.bmp The park wasn't that crowded, maybe it's the fact that we didn't get a new roller coaster. Shot0688.bmp Parachute Tower was fun. Shot0689.bmp Everglade Auto's had a short line today. Shot0690.bmp Runaway Mine Train had a longer line today but I managed to get a few rides on it. Shot0692.bmp Sky Ride was pretty popular except for the fact that you have to wait for the empty cars to swipe around the turn. Shot0691.bmp On my way out, I grabbed some food at Corner Cafe. molemaster43
The park, especially the paths, just seems very...blocky. Also, it seems a bit too sparse in between rides and buildings. Fill it up.

QueerRudie
OK: Daily updates are not needed, especially since we are seeing essentially the same rides, layouts, etc. on every update. Translation: You're being very repetitive on a park that is, to be polite, not very developed, either plot-wise or grounds wise. Â Instead of showing us six of the same rides each day, improve one ride per day: Put up scenery, work on the stations, add more buildings/shops/shows/attractions, and make sure they fit into the park. You need not go over the top, mind you, but something other than the six rides you're featuring with some added detail and such. Â You will find people (particularly the people reading the forums) will enjoy your park more with some attention to details along the way. Â R.D. coastin
Terraform your park. Right now it's very flat, which almost every real life park is not. Go look at CD5's SFSC park for inspiration. Your park right now looks like a fair ground with roller coasters. Also try some ground coloring and try your hand at custom trees, like Old Spice's and N7's . Your park is very un-realistic, and that is what is people don't like on the forums. Put time into your park, instead of rushing it.
goldiehound
I've started to make changes in these next couple updates concerning scenery, trees, and terrain. It will start in the next update. Â Welocme back! Shot0698.bmp From the speaker, an announcement said that this was Scrambler's last week of operation. Shot0569.bmp Scrambler was my fourth favorite ride in the park. Shot0699.bmp I can see what the manager means, there is hardly a line most of the time.
simaticable
There is no need for multiple updates in one day. That really tells me that you're rushing the park. The scenery, terrain, ride, etc. changes should have happened in this update not the next one.
