rollin_n_coastin
^Agreed! We will definitely do our best but I think maintaining our top team status as best as we can will also be a great thing and a good goal for the other parks. This last week should be awesome! Keep the momentum going!
PhantomNick
^^ It's actually kind of funny that you mentioned that. I was curious the other day how Team TPR fundraisers stacked up at each park in regards to the top fundraisers. As it turned out, Team TPR is just doing awesome on all fronts!! Of the 11 parks that are taking part in the event, Team TPR has a member in the top 3 fundraisers at NINE of the parks!! And of those 9 parks, the top fundraiser overall at 5 of them is from Team TPR! Fun little facts right there. But more than that, I'm just so amazed and proud of what our little coaster riding community has done for this wonderful cause! The fact that we have a legitimate chance at hitting $25,000 in donations as a group is incredible, and also a testament to all the hard work each member of Team TPR has done collecting donations. You ALL deserve a pat on the back.....or a beer.....or something! Kudos to everyone!! And with under 10 days until the event, I am by no means ashamed to ask for some more help reaching my goal if anyone would like to donate! When I adjusted my goal a while back, I honestly thought it was too "lofty" and not reachable. To my surprise, as we all hit the stretch run, I'm actually within striking distance of it! We'll see if I can make it!

Then, click on the 'Your Fundraising' tab. Then, click on the 'Add offline donation' link under the green 'Email your page' button in the center of the screen. rollin_n_coastin
^Kind of related but when you add an off-line donation, it says pending confirmation? My donor and I can't figure out how you confirm an off-line donation?

For us up here, I was instructed to mail the checks (no cash) directly to GKTW as First Giving does not handle off-line donations. I guess this is only for international sites. bubala
Ah, okay. I e-mailed Kara at Give Kids The World (KaraD@gktw.org), and she let me know that cash donations were fine, and that I could bring them with me on the day of the event. I guess it's different for you all up north.

RaptorBoyASU
Ok, we're now up to $24546.49, less than $500 to go..... Make sure everyone puts another reminder out there. I have received another $175 since yesterday's "final push" email.

robbalvey
Coasting For Kids is happening THIS SUNDAY, and our Team TPR riders can really use your help! You can donate to our Coasting For Kids riders by clicking the link below, and then clicking on any of our riders donation pages: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=62074 You can donate for a rider at random, for one at your closest park, for a team that needs support, etc. Anyone that donates $50 or more will get a really awesome care package from Theme Park Review. All you have to do is email me after you've made the donation. If you are the owner of any company that would like to make a BIG donation, remember, this is a tax write off, and it goes to a GREAT charity! We know that Team TPR is not in the lead for Cedar Point, Michigan's Adventure, and Carowinds. So please help us support those teams! Again, here is the link: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=62074 Please click it and donate! Even $5 helps! Thank you for your help! --Robb Alvey http://www.themeparkreview.com Edited June 4, 2012 by robbalvey

sspaz1000
I'm getting ready to make some donations, but before I do, can any team members who have really low like under the $75 post and say they are still doing it. I've seen quite a few where they just created the account, but have done nothing since, so I'm not even sure they are still participating.
