Festival Fun Parks, LLC dba Palace Entertainment announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Noah’s Ark water park, located in the popular, family vacation spot of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

Noah's Ark is America's largest water park with 70 acres, 51 water attractions, including 2 wave pools and 2 lazy rivers plus dozens of other various attractions. Located in the city of Wisconsin Dells, known as the "Water Park Capital of the World,” Noah's Ark is the region’s most popular family attraction and has two hotels on the property featuring over 300 rooms. Noah’s Ark offers the greatest variety of water rides in the nation, including Black Anaconda, the nation’s most thrilling watercoaster. The Travel Channel hailed Noah's Ark as "THE place for water in the Midwest,” and TripAdvisor.com named Wisconsin Dells the number one family vacation destination in the U.S.

Fernando Eiroa, Palace Entertainment’s President and CEO, comments, “We are very happy to be adding such an iconic water park to Palace’s array of family parks across the nation. We understand how important this park is within the Wisconsin Dells community, and we are dedicated to enhancing the Noah’s Ark brand. We look forward to meeting our new neighbors and community leaders and forging lasting relationships and partnerships.”

Tim Gantz, one of Noah’s Ark’s previous owners stated, “When we considered the sale of the park, we were excited that a company such as Palace, with so much experience in Water Parks, Theme Parks, Animal Parks and Family Entertainment Centers, would come to this area.”

“We look forward to the future success of Noah’s Ark, its employees, and see this as a positive move for the area as a whole,” added former co-owner Dan Gantz.

Noah's Ark Water Park has sent us a press release regarding its huge addition, Quadzilla!

Forget the monster movies. 2012 is the year of QUADZILLA. Noah's Ark Waterpark's beastly new ride QUADZILLA is a four-lane, "need for speed," head-first, mat racing ride. The water-fueled raceway opens Memorial weekend at America's largest Waterpark.

"We're really excited about this new ride," says Doran Carrell, general manager of Noah’s Ark Waterpark. "It's fast, it's exciting, and it's competitive fun for everyone."

QUADZILLA'S creators, ProSlide, received the product innovation award earlier this year from the World Waterpark Association (WWA). The $1 million family ride stands 47-feet-tall with four lanes, each 323-feet long.

QUADZILLA lets people race their friends and family members. Riders launch head first into one of four slides. QUADZILLA then accelerates riders through tunnels that are braided and twisted together. As the riders crest over vertical curve “humps” that make them feel weightless, they gain even more speed and eventually race head-to-head with the other lanes before coming to a smooth and gentle stop at the finish line.

QUADZILLA is located where The Plunge previously stood. Higher than its predecessor, QUADZILLA is an exhilarating ride, full of surprises -- a drag-way where four go in and fun comes out.
