nannerdw
I remembered seeing this video a long time ago of a backyard coaster with a u-shaped track and free-spinning seats, and I've been looking everywhere to try to find it again. Finally, I came across this rare video, and added it to my favorites so I won't lose track of it again, lol. This is definitely the most ambitious and extreme home-made coaster I've ever seen, complete with its own cage dancers and fire effects It just got featured on NatGeo last year, too. STR8FXXXINEDGE
A couple of my friends hang out with these people. Some of them can even be spotted in the video from NatGeo. I wanted to see if I could head down there over the summer and ride these things, but never got around to it. I'm hoping for next summer. If I am able to do it, I will for sure do a TR about it. QueerRudie
Having just watched those videos, I suddenly feel beyond queasy. I seriously think that SixFlags would invest in one of those, and sell puke sacks for 10.00 at the end of the ride.
Tanks4me05
To be honest, this actually looks like a REALLY good idea for carnivals. It would have to be modified so that the negative G's when someone goes upside down on the drop would be legal, though.
DBru
Wow, this looks like SO much fun! What a cool idea.
E1ticket5
All I can say is now I want Roller Coasters for Dummies, and only something like this would have go-go dancers for theming. But, this is still really awesome.
frozenflames
So it's a cross between a halfpipe coaster, a drop tower, and a Zipper? Uhhh... I think I'll pass. But I'll admit it's interesting seeing how people are designing and building their own rides.
Skramp
This was featured again on Hillbilly Thrill Rides on Destination America channel. Looks like a ton of fun, inventor reminded me of a young Gene Simmons. Could see this being a definite carnival ride.
Angry_Gumball
The ultimate YOLOcoaster...I've seen these floating around on Youtube from time to time. I can only imagine the head rush one would get if they remain inverted when going through the valley...Seems like it would be really forceful. SFMM should get one of these installed in their former Deja Vu spot...would be a nice compliment to their carnival Sling Shot.
CorkscrewFoley
Plus the single car operation would appeal to SFMM...
coasterbill
It looks like a combination of a zipper and a roller coaster which really makes it the greatest thing ever.

gisco
Interesting but I'm not sure I would call this a coaster.
