New Roller Coasters in the RAW DVDs and Blu-Ray!

Recommended Posts

^ I figured as much but just didn't know if you had previous footage from some trips you had done. I saw you doing some filming at DSB and am really glad you got POV of Mindbender. Wish it would have been on Raw 6 too, but unfortunately I don't own a blue ray. Once again, thanks for getting all the footage so that I have something to do in the off season!

I'll have to order RAW 6 at some point between now and Christmas. Don't know if I'll get the blu-ray, even though I now have a blu-ray player (a few too many repeats of those in the DVD volumes). I'm also looking forward to the next Coaster Expedition DVD (whenever that may be).

Right, but keep this in mind - coasters that appeared in standard definition on the older RAW discs (Balder, Phoenix, Boulder Dash, etc...) we have since re-shot in HD, and that footage is all new.

While I've always been a fan of Coaster Expedition over in the raw (it's all about the people, people) . The quality of the first raw hd blu-ray blew me away. Patiently waiting for the next blu ray to arrive in my mailbox. By the initial reviews, it looks to be a worthwhile wait.

IT'S BEAUTIFUL!

Just so I'm clear, Guy, this is said like the guy who opens the Ark of the Covenant right before it goes berserk and kills all the Nazis?

Exactly, when I put it in my PS3 the tracks swirled around my living room and killed all the Nazis. Then Alana's face melted, and my head blew up!

What a way to spend Thanksgiving! I just received both Roller Coasters in the Raw HD 1&2 plus and Roller Coasters in the Raw Vol. 6, a great way to get over those pre-winter dull drums. Both help to plan those next trips during warmer temps. Buy both, share with friends who think you are odd because you like coasters or great stuffing stockers for your coaster challenged friends.

Robb - Another thing that has improved with your move to Orlando is......the post office! The post mark shows RAW HD 2 was mailed on the 22nd, skip a day for no delivery service on Thanksgiving, recieved today! Had this been California, I'd have been lucky to see it arrive at my teepee next week

Can't wait to watch it all!

Oh, and the Legoland Germany and Phantasia Land park maps - winning!

Dylan was mesmerized by the HD footage! He even stopped whining that I didn't have Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on for him. :-)

Even Kayla liked it!

Great work Robb! Looking forward to lots of HD Coaster Porn!

Hello Robb,

I just got my "Roller Coasters In The Raw Volume 2 HD" today, and it's very nice!

But i must say that i am a bit disappointed as both on the Boulder Dash section and the Tennessee Tornado section it lags very much!

I also got a email from you saying that some of the discs had an error, but i couldn't answer you as you apparently have blocked my email address.

There also is a few sections where the quality of the video is not as good as on the others.

- It looks like you've used different HD cams to record it, which result in some good quality videos and some not so good.

I honestly think that the Volume 1 was better and more thought through.

^ Thanks for your feedback. Yes, your email was blocked because it looked like your email was hacked and I was getting spam from it.

As for the lagging, you probably need a new disc. The email I sent out explained that. You could have simply sent me a private message.

As for the image quality, while a appreciate the opinion, I strongly disagree. And yes, while we are using several different cameras since not all coasters will accomodate all cameras, this is the highest quality coaster footage you'll find anywhere.

I painstakingly converted the footage for Blu-ray using the best compression possible. To be honest, I'm shocked to hear someone say the quality isn't good, but you're entitled to your opinion, as I am mine. I "thought through" this Blu-Ray for 18 months and I am insulted by your comment. If you can produce something more "thought through" knock yourself out. I'm sure you'll find the production process is not as simple as you seem to think it is.

I also see that you've used your coupons to get the Blu-ray completely for free. So please show me where you can find that high quality of coaster footage on Blu-ray, for free, and I'll be happy up refund your money.

If you want to ride roller coaster, but you can not afford to travel all over the world. If you want to go 90 degrees, but you like to do it in your own chair. If you want to hear someone scream, loop-dy-loop and twisteee, in your ear. Now is your change. You just need to buy (echo) ROLLER COASTERS IN THE RAW VOLUME 6. This amazing package gives you excitement, thrills, adventure and an out of the world experience. What does it cost you say. ONLY $9,99 (tax included) shipping costs may vary.

Robb congratulations on another epic dvd. My coaster video collection is getting bigger and bigger.

And thanks for the park maps
