Old Town is scary year round! And for those suggesting haunts that are not at theme parks, feel free to post them in this thread: Favorite Standalone Haunts. Still trying to work out the details, but I may be able to swing it. Obviously the big draw for me is Boulder Dash ... The Halloween stuff is cool I guess, but by that time I may be Haunted out. Would it be worth it to me to get less rides on Boulder Dash and do the Haunt stuff, or should I just get the rides pass and enjoy my night riding? Also, anybody know what time they close? It doesn't show on their site. Gregg - The Haunted Graveyard is worth missing a couple of rides on Boulder Dash to experience, and I love boulder Dash at night. It is a 45 minutes walk through (indoors and outdoors). The decoration and scare actors are top notch. You have to purchase a ticket for a particular time as the park manages crowds so groups are not right on top of each other, it is not a conga line. Thought about adding yet another day and doing SFNE on Sunday, but I have a 1/2 Marathon that morning. Don't really want to go from running 13.1 miles then straight to the airport. Invertalon Posted October 6, 2011 Share Posted October 6, 2011 So far I have been to Halloweekends at Cedar Point and for the first time this past weekend, 'The Haunt' at Kings Island. I must say I was very impressed with it and prefer it over CP's event. This coming weekend we will going up to Canada's Wonderland for the first time ever to the park. We did not make it down to HHN this year, so we are trying to make it up at other places a bit closer to us. Looking forward to it! Best time of the year by far. Hilltopper39 Posted October 6, 2011 Share Posted October 6, 2011 I went to HHN Orlando last weekend and am doing HOS during Busch Gardens Bash next weekend. Horror Nights was an overall fun night even though I felt like the event was weaker than usual (about the same as last year). I may try to hit some local non park haunts this weekend with a slight possibility of maybe trying to do Phobia at Wild Adventures. Really looking forward to HOS next weekend, for the past 3 years I always seem to have more fun at HOS than HHN. The events are somewhat similar while still being very different.
