Gutterflower
The latest concept are of Triumph Kingdom currently being built in China show one of the new coasters in much more detail and although it's worth keeping in mind it is just concept art it looks like Xcelerator is getting a sister ride in China. The new concept image for the park shows the rocket at the front of the park near the entrance Construction of the park itself has moved forwards quickly, while much of the entrance area already complete there is still much work to do in the other areas of the park. The first coaster, a Chinese Spinning coaster is already complete but there is currently no sign of the Rocket or the 3rd coaster (Currently thought to be an S&S Free Fly) Source: http://vhcoasters.com/ Edited September 3, 2012 by larrygator
Intarider
Is it confirmed that this will be an Intamin creation? Based on what has been built in China recently, it could as well be manufactured by S&S. Triumph Kingdom looks really nice after all, and a launched coaster is always a great addition, no matter who builds it
A.J.
Is it confirmed that this will be an Intamin creation? Based on what has been built in China recently, it could as well be manufactured by S&S. All those S&S rides were bought by the Happy Valley chain. We think it's an Xccelerator clone because how the support structure and layout look (who else makes a 100-foot tall arc with no supports?). Intarider
^You are probably right, especially as it looks like a perfect clone of Xcelerator. (Btw, I hope the colors are more durable this time ). Nice to see another Intamin project, though, especially as Xcelerator seems to have a fairly good reputation under the enthusiasts. Gutterflower
Concept pictures have appeared on a Chinese site which suggest the new U-Shaped coaster described in the press release for Triumph Valley may well be a new unseen larger version of the established Intamin Half-Pipe model. The new model appears to have larger trains and the spikes have been bent inwards to provide two beyond vertical drops. Intarider
In early 2011, there were rumors about a new Intamin coaster model called "Topside Impulse Coaster" to be opened in a park in China in late 2011 or 2012. It was supposed to have wing rider trains similar to Furius Baco, but with riders facing in each direction like on the ZacSpins. Now this perfectly looks like that rumored coaster And, this beast looks insanely huge (said to be about 200 ft tall). The airtime on the top of the spikes definately looks sick
A.J.
It seems like the experience would be better if the station was on the path of an ellipse or arc. The way it is with this (and the impulse coasters) is you have the airtime, then a spike of Gs, a brief moment of 1G, then the spike again, then the airtime again. Some cheap-o flat ride company makes a deathtrap called "G Force" that has the same sort of straight track before the spikes.
the ghost
Could the halfpipe be one of these? The trains look different, but the size looks right. www.vekoma.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=28&Itemid=
SharkTums
FYI - This park is on the 2012 Best of China Trip!!! Assuming this stuff actually gets built of course!
Gutterflower
^^ The info on the site suggests intamin rather than vekoma. It mentions a swiss company and that it will be launched (the vekoma version uses a chain lift) Here's what Google translation has to say on the subject. U-shaped coaster which is Switzerland’s international well-known roller coaster rides agreed to supply a specially developed stereotypes of the kinds of rides around the world only this one; big pendulum, rolling thunder tour, passion and other projects is the current track similar projects in Asia ranked first. Reporters learned that, U-shaped roller coaster is the use of linear motor technology, combined with the latest flying the cockpit to create the linear acceleration, free fall and weightlessness experience. sammmmmy
I feel so special to be that guy that has info ( ) but since I go on Intamins site like all the time, I know that in the PDF of the Half Pipe coaster it has this, which we can almost definitely conclude thats what it is LINK
Gutterflower
Well the first major coaster to be built on site is neither a rocket or an Impulse.... Unfortunately its an uninspiring choice we have seen throughout China recently. Not sure if it is a Golden Horse or Vekoma model though. SharkTums
^ I never thought I'd say it, but I HOPE it's a Vekoma! The pain endured on those Chinese knockoff SLC's is one of the worst things I've ever experienced.
cfc
^Yay for China 2012! Here's to hoping we all survive!
Schotcher
Seems too colorful to be a Chinese knockoff....
A.J.
Might be a Vekoma. Don't all the Chinese manufacturers construct their coasters unpainted? EDIT: The layout is mirrored. Probably isn't a Vekoma then.
simon8899
If they have to copy a coaster cant they copy a good one??? But hey: They lately bought a B&M...

Intarider
I'm sorry to disappoint all Vekoma fans here, but according to rcdb and other sources, it is a knockoff made by Golden Horse http://rcdb.com/m/10045.htm Well, at least the Intamin LSM coaster will be made by Intamin. Gutterflower
The park has released a number of promotional construction images. The most interesting of which shows a Mack Style Super Splash (Can anyone confirm its a knock off or is it a mack?) and there are some pictures of the two Golden Horse rides we already knew about Source: http://vhcoasters.com
A.J.
What a surprise - another knock-off, it seems, or possibly a Hopkins ride. The Supersplash rides actually have rails in the middle of the channel, because they're essentially roller coasters. The one pictured in the park does not. SharkTums
Just a small update on the park. It looks now like it's supposed to open June 15. We're going to try and hit it up on the TPR China Trip! Website still claims the Intamin giant Impulse/Halfpipe type coaster, Knockoff SLC, Spinning Mouse, and that knockoff Mack Supersplash. They're using some great photos on the site as well to promote the park! There are hundreds more!
spinning man
They're using some great photos on the site as well to promote the park! That made me laugh when I saw it. Using a disney ride, dear oh dear.
