The "GP" of Theme Parks Facebook Thread!

Recommended Posts

I don't know what's more annoying:

the stupid comments the GP makes on Facebook or the horrendous spelling and misuse of words!

The latter for me.

immleaving my home like6:00 bc we get mcdonalds thats our first ride

Um, what??

Here's my own experience of the GP on Facebook. This is from the HHN Hollywood fan page:

Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses??? That's a lot of Corpses to cram in a small space. How do they do that?? I'll have to see for myself in 2012.

*Facepalm*

1) It's just a name. Of course you can't fir 1000 corpses in there. There's not enough space and Universal--not to mention the hefty criminal investigation for harboring all of those bodies.

2) It's not coming back for a third year. -____-

When I was at SFMM yesterday:

GP: Excuse me, where is the Psyclone?

Me: Oh they tore it down a couple years ago and built a new wooden roller coaster called Apocalypse in it's place.

GP: But how did they do that? Did they bend the wood on Psyclone to make it a new ride?

Me: No they tore down the entire structure of Psyclone and built..(interrupted)

GP: Are you lying to me?! Because if you are lying you will go to hell.

Me: Well go check for yourself, it is over by where Deja Vu used to be.

GP: I don't want to go on now.

Me: Bye.

^Im scared to go to America now. Is everyone all "Fear of god" and that crap?

Trust me, hardly any of us are wackos like that... like someone else said, usually you find 'em in the southern states, where you go to HELL if you dance or if you're a woman, show skin or let your hair down!

Dylan Reich bro you don't want to go there i heard people get hurt on those rides all the time. that's why they took the dayja vuh ride out, the restraints couldn't hold someone and they fell out... luckily they were okay though because they weren't that high up

someone replied to Pablo's post with that..... I had no choice to respond and tell Pablo that What dylan said is NOT true.... GP these days..... :-l. Also the guy can't spell.

Dylan replies to Tito's post

Dylan Reich they couldn't have to many green rides, that's why it's being moved to knott's berry farm, they'd rather sell it than have to repaint it because they already have Riddler's Escape and Green Lantern

Wow...you guys realize Six Flags reads these boards right? Robb tries to keep a good relationship with the parks so TPR can offer events like West Coast Bash, and it doesn't look good that we have TPR members "trolling" their official Facebook page with false, defamatory, and unfunny comments.

If we see any of you doing this again, your accounts will be suspended on here.

Nope, I've never worked for Six Flags.

My bad..

Getting back on topic, I remember a Facebook post on the SFMM page a few months or two ago, berating SFMM for taking out Deja Vu, and what not, and i had to explain to them, that yes (i "was") a little upset that they took the ride out, but most (if not all parks) usually replace a coaster with something as exciting, so you don't need to worry. After a little more back and froth conversation with him, and also explaining what it cost to run Deja Vu, and that it would be better for the park financially to take out the ride, and put that money that would be stuck with Vu, to better use he understood why they took it out.
