fatdaddy
Pre pre day add on Bowcraft - Below Central Park Pizza Tour Pre day add on Coney Island NE tour Quassy More Quassy Compounce SFNE/Bizarro Bash Jimmy the Greek's Palace Playland/Funtown Canobie Lake Park LaRonde Great Escape Bonus park/Add on Magic Forest (bonus park)/SFGAdv (add-on day) SFGAdv/Kingda Ka walkback Ok NE Tour, Piers, beers and qu..ite a nice group of people. Ok, so hope your ready for some bad cell camera pictures and even worse captions. Flew from Cali to EWR and then straight to the hotel and all the TPR fun that awaited, including Piers. First up is Bowcraft, never heard of it 'til the trip and although it was just a credit run I thought it was a damn fine small park. I'll spare you the details, cause I've been drinking and don't remember. Started the day with breakfast at Bob's Big Boy, although you can't see it here, i think Robb and Big Boy have the same barber. Ontario airport, I got the "special" treatment. The guy literally said "This is where it get's wierd." and then rubbed my junk in a clockwise circular motion. The wierd part for me was when I found his phone number in my pocket, true story. Ok, my flight's were screwed up, so when I got to frisco, I still didn't have a boarding pass and was hoping I wasn't gonna get screwed, unless it was that one stewardess, giggidy! Yay EWR! Following Elissa's directions from the trip guide I ended up here at the train, or giant wacky worm as I'm calling it. Damn right I'm gonna count it! The layout of this "coaster" was a little tame, but a credit is a credit. Again following the trip guide, caught the shuttle to the hotel, hope there's lot's of happy people inside. Wow, just look at all that excitement!!! Well, at least this dude's excited, or insane, but it's TPR so both are acceptable. Ok, pre pre day, one bus and Robb "unoffically" welcomes us, then we laugh at everyone who is not here, cause we are awesome. Driving to Bowcraft to whore out the credits, not the first time I was on a bus full of whores, true story. Wow, look at that awesome coaster, surely it is one of a kind, I'm so ashamed. Yes, Bowcraft knows we are "special", and they have Elissa's favorite, delicious Pepsi. The coaster itself was laughing at us! "Ok you filthy whores, do your nasty business, towel off, and then back to the bus." He really said that, true story. Actually a very nice small park, with a decent set of rides, mostly for kids, but that means there's gotta be some hot mom's somewhere. Wait, that don't look like no kiddie credit! It was actually as fun as it looks. Yeah, that ain't no kiddie, so at least I'm not totally pathetic, just 50%. I am assuming these are all lost hats? The invasion has begun. Lifthill goodness. This coaster was actually pretty good, smooth and fun, much more than I was expecting. Out of our way summer camp kids, we are professional nitwits! The trains were kinda cool too. Still loading, taking a break. Edited September 12, 2011 by fatdaddy
fatdaddy
Ok, continuing on with Bowcraft. We tried to stop him, but... As you can see it is much more than your average kiddie credit. (Are you buying this crap?) Anyone else ever ride the a$$ of a dragon? No Piers, I said DRAGON, not DRAG QUEEN. Ok, just be suttle, take your seat get the credit, don't draw any attention to your self. Just as long as he doesn't put his arms up...AWW HELL! Yes, we are sad and pathetic. These people have no shame. Notice the HUGE smile on this grown woman riding a kiddie coaster. A themed minature train, the theme is polar bear, panda bear, zebra, teepee...or something, I dunno. For all you minature train fans. Aweome little train, wish I could have ridden. Ok that does it for Bowcraft, just a credit run, but still lots of fun. They really didn't have many souvenirs, so some of us bought single ride tickets, and even got business cards. About the only thing that had "Bowcraft" on it was some buttons in the arcade, which I did buy. Ok, now off to Central Park and that elusive kiddie credit, followed by Scott's Pizza Tour and the city. simon8899
The trains were kinda cool too. Looks like a "light" version of the Zierer trains built for the Teststrecke (Schwarzkopf looper) and Vienna Prater Boomerang (Vekoma).

fatdaddy
Ok, so now to the Central Park credit, all the rumors you have heard are true, it's an amazing coaster. We also ate hotdogs, made muppets, and then took the subway to Scott's Pizza Tour. Back on the road headed to Central Park, where I hear there is a huge coaster. Some kinda city over there, buildings and such. Take the Tunnel!!! Anyone know how many tiles it took to finish the tunnel? Yes, the answer is 1, true story. Parking sucks in NY. Taxi cabs and tall buildings, we must be there. Looks like my kinda town, the pizza was good, but next time I want a tour of that place. No soup for you! Me and random tall building, just so you know I was actually there. This horse ride is not vegan approved, not only is the horse "forced" to work, but in NY they feed um rats, true story. Awesome metal signs, but which one to choose? Cool, Central Park, this place is huge, no wonder they can hide this awesome credit. Follow that yellow bag of crap. Got excited for a second, thought it said "sex hotel", moving on. Beautiful trains, this is gonna be sweet! If Robb Alvey is excited, then this must be one hell of a coaster. Clench and squish. Lift "hill" goodness, kinda. I call this layout, super extreme wild mouse a go go, cause it's insane. I had heard that New York was full of whores, but this isn't quite what I was expecting. We have no shame!!! Shawn: "My hands are huge, they can touch anything, but themselves..." I have no clue what is occuring here, but it frightened all the children away, true story. You could purchase a picture of your epic ride, and I did. Most epic on ride photo evar!!! Ok, at this point we headed for FAO Shizzy's or whatever it's called, Muppets and Pizza, coming soon. fatdaddy
Ok, muppets, the subway, pizza, yeah that's what NY is all about, except the muppets, those are just for wierdo's. I would like to thank Elissa for babysitting us in the city, or else we might have gotten stuck somewhere and gotten back to the hotel really late and almost missed the bus the next day, but that didn't happen to any of us. Scott was awesome, wish we could have hit more pizza joints, definately a must do if you hit up NY. Ok, bad cell pics, and even worse captions that most likely have nothing to do with the pictures. Muppet credit, had to do it. Random smurf, kill it! They actually breast feed the Muppets while they are being made, true story. Yup, that's my muppet, his names Orlando, he likes beer, bowling and cruising the highschool in his hotrod. As you can see Orlando has a way with the ladies. Almost complete, can you imagine the adventures he will have, like sitting in a bag in the back of my closet, epic. Um, no comment. Should we really be watcning this? There they are, all ready to go. At this point we gathered up and decided to hit the subway, which of course you will see when the report continues. fatdaddy
Subway, and not the sandwich kind either. Robb explains to Scott how to properly get a boob credit. Scott explains he prefers the purple nurple, or not, I dunno, moving on. Really, why did none of these people get mugged, they practically have targets on them. Gather around, this guys totally insane about pizza. Short walk to Lombardi's. Noted. Brick oven, coal burning, high temp, pizzas cook in like 4 minutes, awesome! The pizza just flies outta this place, I think some of those were ours. The famous oven. Very hot, cooks fast, pizza good. Ok, so they sell clam pizza and they count the clams, so each pie has the same amount. Only 4 left. This was awesome, great cheese, great sauce, great crust, and I just happen to be a fat guy who likes pizza, winning! This guy knows everything about pizza, even the crappy delivery stuff. This place was my favorite. So I see this hot girl walking down the street, I say "Hey Piers, that doesn't do anything for you?", he says "Well, I like her shoes.", true story. They were ready for us and started serving pies as soon as we hit the dinning room. Awesome, if i remember correctly the sauce is on top of the cheese. A majority picked Arturo's over Lombardi's, but both were great. I prefered Arturo's sauce, and cheese. Ok, we had actually decided on a place that had beer and pizza by the slice, but Scott changed up on us and decided to try and change Elissa's opinion on Sicilian pizza. Famous Ben's, and yes, it was a TPR takeover. Scott loves Sicilian pizza, and it ws pretty damn good, not my favorite, but I wouldn't turn it down. Kinda like Ashley Olsen, she's not my favorite Olsen twin, but I wouldn't turn her down, true story. So then Scott says there's a place for canoli "right around the corner"...several blocks and a good 20 minutes around the corner maybe. Rocco's, the dude holding the door is both being courtious and begging for change, true story. Um yeah, this place will make you fat, but don't worry we will walk it off getting back to the bus. The canoli's were deadly and awesome! Very rich, very sweet, one was all I could handle. Ok, that's it for the pre pre day, we hiked back to the corner where we were supposed to meet the bus and damn if it wasn't there waiting for us, Brian the bus driver is awesome. Ok, gotta start working on Coney Island, which was an awesome day. Edited September 12, 2011 by fatdaddy

fatdaddy
^Yay! Ok, Coney day, I took a lot of picture early in the day and then the beer kicked in and I no longer cared, YAY!!! So, we got up, hotel breakfast (bacon makes it good), ok two buses, lots of new faces, we are all gonna have fun, ride the Cyclone in the back seat, original Nathan's, Deno's Wonder Wheel, 6 credits, I believe at this point Piers was still straight. Ok, pictures. You know that stuff you buy at the zoo to feed the monkeys? Yeah...moving on. Two buses today, ours has "E Ticket" Elissa Alvey, here she gives us a list of foods not to let Robb have, true story. I give you: the Statue of Liberty!!! Really it's there. Not sure what this is, but I believe this is from the portion of the trip where we blew up the deathstar, true story. Dr. Poon? What kind of lame excuse for a coaster nerd would I be if I passed up a chance to ride this? We were a little early, so we got to explore a little before everything opened up. Really fun, really painful, I will never complain about Ghostrider again. Random pack of nerds. They had these places all over the beach, they sold everything, and beer too. I normally only wear this hat when I'm reaping souls, but since TPR members have no souls, today it's just to keep the sun off me. Daffy, Mickey, guns, fire, spaceships, what's not to like. Deno's fun wheel, I mean Mickey's wonder wheel, did I mention they sell beer EVERYWHERE here? No really, I was trying to take pictures of the buildings and that kiddie coaster just happened to end up in the shot...really. Nothing like a tilt a whirl, wonder if it's any good? They don't build them like this anymore, excpet at Disney California Adventure, or not, what was the question? Ok, more Coney to come, still working. fatdaddy
^Awesome! Glad somebody finds this amusing. Ok, continuing on with the report. One of the main reasons I signed up for this add on, always wanted to ride this. Honestly, didn't find it too thrilling, but still fun, and I can say "I rode it". No, I wasn't looking for hookers, I was looking for massage parlors, I found neither. Just creepy. E-lizzy hands out all the shizzy for a fun day at Coney, good for all the credits, the Wonder Wheel and Luna Park. I do believe there is a camera strapped to that car, hope it survives. Why he's sniffing his pits I do not know, but this ride will knock the stank right off you! Artsy and fartsy, cause I farted when I took this, sorry if you were trapped in the queue. Oh, "DO NOT put hands up", I thought it said we got DONUTS if we put our hands up, my bad. No, his hair was that way before the ride, just sayin'. The seats look like torture devices, because THEY ARE!!! I call this shot: Old dude before he rides the Cyclone in the back seat and breaks his a$$. Seriously, we all survived, I did have an awesome knot in my back for like a week, but it was awesome. Whats the matter Kevin? Backseat was your idea! Is that a hyper, maybe a giga? Oh look, it's Laura in the front seat of a dragon wagon, never seen that before. This way to the Wonder Wheel!!! Ok, break, Wonder Wheel next and the rest of Coney. fatdaddy
And the last of it. Nerd shot. Wonder Wheel! So, do we ride in those? I could swear I saw these at the swap meet last week full of chickens. This dude like pulls this big handle and the thing goes around, or something, I dunno, I took a picture of him anyway. Nerd shot. Let's see, if these guys make it back alive, I'll get on. Bye, hope you make it back, but if you don't it's ok, cause your not in my Qbot group. Spook-a-rama most awesome dark ride ever! Swinging! Steeplechase coaster time. My daughter would love this, actually she wants a live miniature pony and cart. Tilt a whirl KTapproved! Usually women slap me when I ask um if they wanna ride the Tickler. Nathans > Pinks That's a lot of beer, had I discovered this sooner, I may have spent my entire day here. I was going to the ocean, this is as far as I got, walking in the sand is hard. One of my favorite rides of the trip, hope Cedar Fair or Six Flags grabs some of these for their parks. Big Mike graced us with an apperance, along with (HLS) Megan. The food back at the hotel that night was awesome! And there was lot's of TPR fun, you shoulda been there. Overall an awesome day at Coney Island. Ok, done with this day, and still the offical trip days had not started! Lot's more to upload.

805Andrew
I love your TR Can't wait to see more. I just have a couple of questions for you, how does Wonder Wheel compare to the one at DCA (in the swinging seats) and comparing 1920's beach-side classic woodies which do you like better, Cyclone at Coney Island, or Giant Dipper at Santa Cruz? I just have a couple of questions for you, how does Wonder Wheel compare to the one at DCA (in the swinging seats) and comparing 1920's beach-side classic woodies which do you like better, Cyclone at Coney Island, or Giant Dipper at Santa Cruz? I thought in the aspect of swinging that the Fun Wheel and the Wonder Wheel were pretty close, but the Wonder Wheel looks like it might fall apart at any moment, which add's to the terror, I hate ferris wheels. I would take Giant Dipper over Cyclone, but Cyclone is definatly more forceful and wild, and painful. One and done on the Cyclone, marathon the Giant Dipper. Ok, since people are looking at this, I guess I should post the next update. The Quassy, Compounce day is edited and just needs to be resized. I'll get on it.
