Hockeyman55
I don't know about that one, Legoland will be there everyday compared to how often do you have the chance to go to a TPR Bash at Busch Gardens with everything this event has lined up for us, not that often. For me the bash wins hands down. Also HOS itself starts well after the time Legoland closes for the day so technically you could do both. Besides Legoland is going to be a mad house day. cfc
yall do reliaze that legoland fl is opening on the 15th right..? i would rather go to there grand opening then hallow scream This thread is about Busch Gardens Bash--not Legoland. Please stay on topic. You've also been warned about grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Please read TPR's Terms of Service before posting again. We now return back to the BGT Bash thread, which is already in progress. I'm really looking forward to this event--should be the top Bash of my Year of Bashes (although SFOG set the bar pretty high). Cheetah Hunt and HOS both look great. Edited September 30, 2011 by cfc
IneedTPforbunghole
Whoo. I get to go! I wonder how many tickets are left. ERT on Cheetah Hunt, my new favoirte coaster, and Montu, the world's best invert. Nemesis is SO overrated.

aimster
Wow. I'm glad I got my ticket in time! I had a feeling this thing was probably going to sell out once you guys got word it would be limited to 100 people. Really looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great time! I need to find out who the other "chickens" are so we can hang out together during Howl-O-Scream because no way am I doing the houses. The "whole park is a scare zone" is pretty cool though and I loved the different hoards out and about when I went for Freaky Preview last weekend. I had more fun than I was expecting. robbalvey
^ There will be plenty of chickens, don't worry! And really, you should try to do a maze or two...once you kind of get the rhythm of how some of it all works, you would be surprised how quickly you start to get de-sensitized to some of it. That's the truth! I had always talked myself out of doing a haunt event being a big wuss. But after using some liquid courage and the help of some friends, conquered knotts scary farm this year and found the mazes were actually quite fun and more or less startled me more then scared the crap out of me. I'd suggest that you be in the middle of your group and then you'll be a little less of a target... Usually . But definitely try a maze!
nursemelis374
I used to love going to Hauntish events but the last couple of years have stayed away so I feel like a chicken also. I am going to sandwich myself between my pals, Eric and Christine, though and just go for it! I have been looking at trip reprots from BGT and getting excited to go there! We are spending a few days at WDW before so it will be a mini break for us.
Meteornotes
I'm excited that after many, many eye surgeries, my eyes have healed and I can actually go into mazes/dark areas again. It's been awhile. Though I still have to avoid anything with lots of strobes. So Ice Bat & I are ready to see the houses! dt

ioa geek
I'm so ready for the Busch Gardens bash, its going to be the best time I've ever had at this park after going so many times doing the same thing over and over at my hometown park. Hope to meet everyone there, weather is looking perfect down in Tampa Bay for the last two weeks!
IneedTPforbunghole
I've been to BG around 50+ times. But, I am excited to get to go with TPR! SPOILER for 1st timers - Sit in the front of Cheetah Hunt and you get some great ejector. Sit in the back and you get some weak floater.
BarryH
It's a few days away from the Bash! I booked hotel from priceline. I got the Howard Johnson's on Fowler Avenue off I-275 for $30/night. hopefully, there won't be too many roaches or hokers in the joint.
Guy T. Koepp
Whats a hoker?
aimster
LOL! The western side of Fowler can be pretty skeezy (from the mall to 275). Stuff on the east side (USF to 75) is usually better. Then again most of the hotels on Busch Blvd are kind of scary looking too outside of the Holiday Inn Express (which is pretty new). I am totally counting down the days for this. I'll be driving in from Clearwater (which is 30 minutes away from Busch Gardens). Hoping I have the energy to last all day! Yay for 99¢ soda refills for those reusable sports bottles. I'll be chugging Mountain Dew like it's going out of style! So who are other chickens who won't be doing the houses? I want to hang out with ya'll if possible! Also, I have a question.... I didn't add on Fright Feast, but if I go and buy it myself through BGT, could I still sit with the TPR people? If not no biggie. Just thought I'd ask. Been kind of kicking myself for not adding it on but didn't have an extra $25 at the time.
jjune4991
I'll try and save you a seat. I don't see how it could be a problem, unless they really do put ropes around an area for us!
BarryH
I did a Google search for hoker and here's what came up: Ho´ker n. 1. Scorn; derision; abusive talk. Amy: I'm thinking of getting the Fright Feast too. I should be able to get a passholder discount. So I will need someone to sit with too. The houses aren't too bad. I'm willing to take some chickens through some houses. I'll go in first. Actually, if you're a chicken, I would do the houses in this order: The prison house (I can't remember the name) Deconstruction (rubbery body parts are scary?) Nightshade Toys Vampire Casino Zombie Mortuary Nevermore Actually, if you only see one house, I would choose Nevermore followed by Zombie Mortuary. ...and you gotta see Fiends. MightyShouter
Is anyone out there wishing they could go to Busch Gardens Bash, but they missed the registration deadline? We have three slots paid-up and reserved at the October 15th event, but unfortunately we cannot make it. According to Robb, we can swap these slots if you match our registration exactly. You must have season passes or some other form of admission into the park to enter. What you get is: 1. Busch Gardens Bash Event Admission 2. Admission to Fright Feast Dinner The original cost of these tickets is about $115 per person. Post here or PM me if you are interested.
