805Andrew
Hey All, I could use some advice. My friend and I will be staying in Anaheim from the 22-25th (flying in from NorCal), and staying across from the Disneyland main gate . Does anyone know of a cost effective way to get to Knotts for the Haunt Event? Lots of hotels in the Anaheim area offer shuttle service to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm. Check with your hotel to see if they offer shuttle service to KBF. They may offer it for free or a relatively low cost.
Sir Clinksalot
The bus is very easy to take from DL to Knott's. My son and I took it a few months ago when my wife/daughter were at DL and we were at Knott's. For the two of you it will be no more than $5. However, if you are using the bus for Haunt, you may want to make sure how late the buses run depending on how late you are staying at Knott's. Yeah, we are planning on attending the TPR/MiceAge Haunt event. That was my original concern with taking the bus... If I have room I might be down to give you guys a ride if you want, I'm gonna be picking my friend up from her place which is right next door to Disneyland. Right on Hearse! Let me know if its possible, I really appreciate it. I am just on the fence about any sort of shuttle service running that late, and am thinking a cab would be a lot cheddar. Its almost 2012, where the hell is my hoverboard?!
c0sterfreek
Ive never been to Knotts Berry Farm before.. Perfect chance to go. Cant wait for tickets to go on sale.
Jew
I can't imagine a cab ride between the parks being that expensive. The parks are only 5 miles apart from each other. Edited August 2, 2011 by Jew
the ghost
I am pretty much 10000% down to go to this... I try to set a monthly fun stuff budget(otherwise I'd be 100% broke) and I've "extended" the budget a bit this month... so unless it's crazy expensive I am so down. Also it's the day after I do Horrornights cause I am doing the opening night super saver thing... so this will be the best weekend EVER!
Jhcbiinoc
Just my advice from having gone last year: anyone even considering going to this event, DO IT! Unfortunately, I won't be able to go this year due to moving, but it would be difficult to top the time I had at this event last year, especially being one of the winners of the "be a Haunt Monster for the night" prize. That was just awesome. The best time I have ever had at Haunt

Rastuso
Wish I could make it. But were seeing Weird Al the night before, and want to do DL Halloween too, so were going to the probably lesser event the next weekend. R
Twister II
I'll be off that day - if I can fight the Vegas to LA traffic on a Friday night, it shouldn't be a problem!

My friend and I will be staying in Anaheim from the 22-25th (flying in from NorCal), and staying across from the Disneyland main gate . Does anyone know of a cost effective way to get to Knotts for the Haunt Event? The LA Metro 460 bus has a stop at the Disneyland bus terminal, and goes by Knotts Berry Farm. The head sign will say 'Downtown LA' and the cost is $1.50 per person. It is a 24 hour bus.

the ghost
I'm in... just bought tickets for me and 2 guests... can't wait! Just out of pure curiosity does front of the line work for Sleepy Hollow Mtn(log ride) or Invasion from Beneath?(mine ride) Not a huge deal either way, but that would be VERY helpful to know because these can get pretty crowded.
