pianojohn
Geez, my mistake! I say the word "Parking Lot" and get the 3rd degree! I guess I should have said it would have been nice to have the coaster IN the park as opposed to being outside the grounds. For example, I love the way the GASM is built around the lake. I just like being on coasters where you see trees and such as opposed to cars ENTERING the parking lot. Clearer? Either way, I am sure it will be a fun ride. robbalvey
^ No worries John. People just get a little too excited when it comes to new rides! Remember, everyone, it's a NEW RIDE. That's a GOOD THING! --Robb "No need to snap at people because they make a comment here or there about it." Alvey
SLUSHIE
I just noticed that this thing has no MCBR. Looks like they know that they won't be sending out the trains fast enough to need one.
MagnumForce
SFoG is actually a well run park. I am sure they will be able to hit interval without a problem.

SLUSHIE
Well is isn't a hyper. It may be 200ft tall, but the biggest drop is only 175ft.
jarmor
hate to break it to ya but all B&M speed coasters (as what they were called when they first came out) are listed under "mega coaster" on RCDB.com lol lol

Yeah, I agree that SFoG is a well run park (except for Scorcher). The rides barely ever break down, and when they do... you can always rely on the ride ops to crack a few jokes over the station intercom to keep everyone in a good mood. The last time I was at SFoG, that island thing outside of the park was SMALL. Did they expand that or something? I never would've thought a coaster could fit there... Meteornotes
The Scream supports get hit all of the time by maintanence vehicles! Why does this: -Not actually surprise me in any way? -Make me giggle? Thank god SFMM has such a keenly aware maintanence staff that they can't steer a truck around a roller coaster! Then again, I suppose that's what they get for plopping it down in a parking lot. As for the new hyper at SFOG, it looks like it should be fun. I'm not as much of a fan of the B&M rides as the Intamin ones, but it should give a decent ride. If it turns out to be anything like Goliath at Walibi World, it will instantly become one of the best coasters in the US. I thought the WW Goliath was one of the best steel coasters I've ever been on... dt

I never would've thought a coaster could fit there... I think we all thought it was small until they drained the two ponds for digging. I cant wait for the ERT us season passholders get. And this coaster goes through alot trees in its couse. Last sunday i seen the drill digging holes between trees. Hurray, we only rumored about this thing forever. I guess somebody slipped up 3 or 4 years ago, when planning for the ride was just beginning.
coasterguy618
Yay! another B&M hyper. The first drop i think should be a little longer but it still looks fun. I also think it looks really short.
Yero
Goliath... Wow.. original.. I hope they don't screw up that view of the Scorcher, because on pictures it is verry Beautifull Well, I'm not so excited because I don't like those coasters (to look at)

BiCoastal Kid
I really wish more companies would use systems similar to Intamin's magnetic anti-rollbacks.

ebl
Nice pictures! That lift looks really steep---more than 45 degrees! Maybe it's just the angle of the shot, though. Eric

Saturday is season passholder day, so I think the park is closed on Sunday. I'll be there on Saturday, maybe they'll have more of the lift up by then.
