sirspanky53
Do we know if they have actually started dismantling wheelie yet? Does anyone have pics of the removal?
Her0ofLime
^ I doubt they've even started yet, or anyone's going to be able to get pics, with the park closing the day Wheelie does.
simaticable
I imagine Brad will provide pictures when the demolition occurs or at least when SkyScreamer construction begins.
sirspanky53
I work in the construction Industry. Most jobs I have been on usually provide a construction web cam for the people to keep track of the progress. I always love to watch rides get built its exciting to me. I'll go check the webpage for SSR, just to see if they've started it. EDIT: Nope, no pics or webcam.

SFOverTexasFan
I recently read a post on Screamscape stating that the FAA only approved a height limit on Skyscreamer of 227 feet, down from 240 feet announced earlier by Six Flags. I really don't think that 13 feet will make that much of a difference, it will still be a fun ride!
omgitsmatt93
Does anyone know if they plan to ggive the rest of georgia cylcone topper track like they did to the first portion last year.
jedimaster1227
It is expected that the ride will be slowly be retracked in sections each year until the whole ride has been fully retracked.
ArundelHigh Coasters
Anyone know if the ride is getting scrapped or sold? I think it got sold to Fun Spot Action park in Orlando, Florida. Although, I could be wrong.
simaticable
It was sent to Fun Spot. The park there posted a picture of Wheelie on FB.
Her0ofLime
It was sent to Fun Spot. The park there posted a picture of Wheelie on FB. Now I have another reason to go to Fun Spot, first they get a new GCI, and now they get Wheelie.

GayCoasterGuy
I'm surprised Six Flags didn't hold on to Wheelie for parts. I'm so glad we still have Orbit at Great America Such great rides. So simple. Just "get in and go" fun. Thanks Anton!

GayCoasterGuy
^I'm not sure about the specifics of that one. Parks salvage whatever parts they can; but I do have a feeling that Gerstlauer is able and ready to produce any necessary replacement Schwarzkopf parts. GayCoasterGuy
Spinnaker is gone!? Guess I'm a little behind in news... Unfortunately I haven't been to SFOT or Texas at all since 1995. Does Shock Wave still have seat belts ONLY in the back 2 cars? Always thought that was cool - a testament to the killer air time those two post-loop drops have! Always thought that was cool - a testament to the killer air time those two post-loop drops have! it's been gone since they put in Runaway Mountain (they put it in storage, then it showed up at Fiesta as "Wagon Wheel") I'm sure someone has better info on it than, I, but I believe that is correct
simaticable
Not Sky Screamer related, but it's still SFOG related. From Screamscape: (1/4/13) Six Flags White Water was approved to add a new 5-story waterslide by the local planning commission who had to vote to approve a rezoning of a section of the employee parking lot to allow for the new project. According to this article, the park will remove the Bonzai Pipeline slide to replace it with their new Behemoth Bowl slide, aka: Typhoon Twister. I don't recall exactly where Bonzai Pipelines is, so can anyone point out to me where this is going to be located?
Voxelmatic
Didn't they just add Bonzai Pipelines last year?
deathbydinn
^ That was SFSTl. The SFWW website lists a slide just called Bonzai, which is probably what he meant to say.
