Me and friends get together, usually around the beginning of April, at a chosen hotel for four nights' stay. Treat it like we're really out of town and just ENJOY where we are, for a few nights. Anyway - thought a crazy thought of starting to "audition" for the (eventually) new Viking Land Theme Park in Norway, now pushed to an opening in 2018. I will be 65 and still somewhat pliable, etc. That, and I can get a good grasp of speaking Norwegian in 2 years, easy! Though I could start out as a mute character. And then eventually start speaking, when required. Also, I suspect the park is seasonal, and with a probable heavy snowfall every winter, this is a possible spring-to-early-fall contract, I bet. And NOT (as I thought it 'might' happen again) at the end of March, but rather the beginning of March. Who knew? This is becoming my Best - Lottery Game - Ever. Over all the years I've played these things, the ongoing payout ($ and free tix) on this one in particular, has been nothing short of incredible! And with that, I will calm down. And buy again with my Game Sense on. WOO HOO! Won $175 on Poker Lotto tix (4 of a Kind wins it) I got today! This is insane. I love it! Screw my Game Sense, LOL! If the park becomes a reality it will definitely be a seasonal park, probably late April to early October. Don't expect any heavy snowfall though, it's on the west coast. Lots of rain and occasional snow will probably be more accurate. You need to go up into the mountains to get large amounts of snow. And as we here in Vancouver get some rainfall of our own (many times like a Mini Monsoon!), I am perfectly comfortable with the rainfall. And I actually did get a hold of the company for hiring information! They told me to wait over a year, then get back to them. Cool, I thought! Easy to do that. I got their attention, with photos attached, lol. So they now know I am "somewhere in the world", not of Norway... And learning Norwegian scares me to bits! I heard it while up at Tusenfryd. And it's all a jumble to my ears. That will take some work on my behalf, I'm sure. And if it does rain that much, those costumes better be waterproofed! I had a solo in a song called "Africa, Ceremony Song and Ritual" and I don't wish to sound arrogant, but oh my gosh it was absolutely gorgeous. All the hard work paid off in a 10 bar solo.
