For those of you coming in from out of town who are planning on visiting the World of Coke, Aquarium, Braves game, etc, you can save some money if you buy a combo ticket:

The Atlanta City Pass: $69 (Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola, Inside CNN Studio Tour, High Museum of Art OR Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Zoo Atlanta OR Atlanta History Center).

Braves Triple-play ticket: $50 (Braves game, and two of the following: Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, or Stone Mountain).

Pemberton Place pass: $40 (World of Coke and Georgia Aquarium).

If you're looking to visit other parks in the area, Dixieland is about a 30 minute drive south, Wild Adventures is a 4 hour drive south, Carowinds is a 4 hour drive northeast, and Lake Winnie is a 2 hour drive north. In september, all of the parks are open only weekends. Alabama Adventure will be closed by that time of year.

^ Thanks for the tip on the Braves thing ... but it looks like you can only use the WoC/Aquarium ticket the day before/day of/day after the game. We wanted to do WoC and Aquarium on Friday.

We had thought about doing Dixieland, but they don't open up until 2pm on Sunday.

I also wanted to mention that Dollywood is open the day before the bash if anybody wants to drive up there for the day (kind of a long drive, but it's an option).

So I had my ticket ready a while ago. Then, I just saw this huge list of every great ride at Six Flags Over Georgia. And now I'm dying to find out what rides we'll be riding at night. Seems like something I never get to do even though I go to the park on a regular basis.

Countdown begins . . .
