dandaman
Welcome to another exciting installment of my trip reports, made more exciting by the fact you didn't pay for it. Last weekend, I hit up Busch Gardens, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Magic Kingdom with anywhere from 3 to 8 crazy TPR members, including but not limited to Carlos who drove over 400 miles to make this happen, Derek (DerekRx), Renee (nay), Jake (Jakizle), Colin (colincoon) and/or Adam (jedimaster1227). And it was awesome. Enjoy. After crossing the state early Saturday, we hit Cigar City Brewing in Tampa as a meet-up point. (Having never met Derek in real life at this point, I figured it was as appropriate a place as any.) As you can see, they were rather adamant on the alcohol policy; no one wants to be called a lunkhead in good company. The six(?) of us got a nice little tour of the microbrewery. Being locked in the freezer was just like being back in Canada, with almost as much beer. Ah, there we go. We ended up at the park around 3 or so due to a late (albeit fantastic) lunch at Peg's Cantina in Gulfport. My first and only time to BGT was back in 2006, I believe, even though I'm on this side of the state at least twice a year. Needless to say, it was good to be back. I'll get to you later, sexy Intamin goodness! Now here's what pretty much everyone came to ride. I'd only been on Gwazi once, and from what I remember it actually wasn't that bad to me. (Granted, my yardsticks to go by are Mean Streak, Spinebuster and a few other choice woodies, so take that with a grain of salt.) And I've gotta say, the new trains were AWESOME. I was really glad to see for myself that Millennium Flyers are all they're cracked up to be. I could've fallen asleep in the seat, it was so comfortable. Exquisite lift hill. Welcome to Cameronland! Q: Whaddaya call a lazy wallaby? A: A pouch potato. "I see what you did there." "So why aren't you back in Chicago right now, Cam?" "Beats me. Why the hell are your sunglasses so crooked?" "This does not concern you. Walk away." I was deeply hurt we weren't invited to Larry King's birthday party. NEW CREDIT! Made even better with a camel (in) tow! Sidenote, I sat up front and asked Grover if he likes movies about gladiators, but no response. The best shots are the ones where you're too lazy to wait for a train. Guy on the front left of the train is taking full advantage of the floorless aspect; the ghost on the front right seat couldn't care less. Even all seven Kill Bill stunt doubles came out to enjoy the park today! Best Shot #2 Hi Elissa! Erik, I found out how all those monkeys down in Miami escaped. The left side of this picture is brought to you by the smoke monster from Lost. Sexy Intamin goodness time! At least a few more pieces of track have been added since these were taken, but the hell with it, it still looks cool. THROUGH THE REEDS! Eh, just let it run off the track RCT-style. "16 people have died in an accident on Cheetah Roller Coaster 2" If I could describe how this ride looks in one word, that word would be "fappable". And possibly "green". 10 seconds after this was taken, I heard, "Hey, honey, are they building a new roller coaster?" #shitmyGPsays I can haz humanburger? I can haz everything the light touches? [/rapierwit] Well, I'm sure that whatever animal was in here, it put in a good enough work week to take the day off. Female meekrat is apparently caught in an abusive relationship with demonic meekrat. (And no, according to Jake, those weren't typos.) While Montu happened to be closed when we walked over there, we did manage to get a Jeff Johnson credit that Jeff himself probably operated at some point in history! Ha-ha! He's old, you see. I felt I should explain that. The usual suspects, although something's missing... Bam. Its binomial name is "acerus fatti". And I leave you tonight with Cheetah Hunt's pretzel art in the sky. Stay tuned for Disney tomorrow!
Mr. Starr
Awesome report! Glad to hear you enjoyed Gwazi -- it was my first woodie [harharhar] and I thoroughly loved it!

Jojo19799
Dan, when are you coming back to Chicago? Planning on any CP trips? Again, great report. I can't wait for more.
dandaman
^^ It was rather unnerving to have them staring at you expecting food when you're too cheap to spring for it. Jo, nothing in the works yet, although all summer last year I was trying to get things going. There's actually a possibility I'll be doing a study-abroad program in Oxford (yeah, that Oxford) this summer, so my theme park credits might not be in the Chicago area so much as intercontinental! Jojo19799
^Good luck with Oxford! Quick question, were there ANY people at these parks that needed to be put on the "Sexy List"? BTW, I am going to create some ground rules for that list, and once it's done I'll be sure to notify you.

I'm sure there were, but when you live in Central Florida and go to the tourist areas for this long, you tend to lose count of those who qualify for the list. /I did play and win my usual game of Mullet Bingo, though
