gisco 1
This is one park I'm going to have to make time ti visit the next time I'm in Orlando. It looks like a great way to spend an evening away from the bigger parks.
palmerleeberry 0
After the success of WHITE LIGHTING and the expanses of FUN SPOT ACTION PARK, the powers-to-be have decided it's time to add another attraction. Oh, what could this new attraction be? Maybe it can be a dark ride or how about a log flume ride? Those two would be my vote if I was one of those powers-to-be. Just I have said in an earlier post, this is how theme parks are made: they go from being small to becoming king-size.
triggernel 0
Thanks guys! The park was dead when we were there, just like it seems to be everyday. I suppose it'll pick up this summer, and Saturday nights the place will probably be rockin!
jray21 0
The park really does look nicer with their newer rides. I can't wait until I can finally get out there!
markysharky17 0
I'm going to guess it will be a S&S screaming swing. Imagine another Chance Morgan hyper Lite being built at this park?! Only one can dream...
DanTheBooker 0
Imagine another Chance Morgan hyper Lite being built at this park?! Only one can dream... I think the next coaster will invert. It won't be anything TOO intense. But it will invert. I'd love to see an El Loco or Eurofighter in there.
jray21 0
I still think this park would be perfect for a Megalite.
CPSFMMCW 0
Any word of when they plan on announcing it? Or, actually, where did you hear that they were getting a new attraction??
FaithPlus1 0
This place would be good for a little coaster like Green Lantern. Short and kinda lame but would probably be a big draw here.
ScreaminNewEngland 2
A screamin swing was on the finished map of the park. Make sense since the other fun spot has one. A shoot the chutes would be the best option I think.

BlahBlahson 0
Orlando is the best. All bases are covered. Disney World: The Most Magical Place on Earth Universal : Disney+More Stuff for 15+ ages Busch Gardens: Amazing Regional Park Seaworld : Amazing Marine Park Legoland : Amazing Children's Park Fun Spot America: Clean and Awesome Jersey Shore/Boardwalk/Fried Food type of Park . If only Aquatica or Wet N' Wild would get the itch to be quite as amazing as Schlitterbahn Braunfels, Splashin' Safari, Wild Wadi, or Yas Waterworld.
palmerleeberry 0
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full . . . these are the type of attractions that could benefit Fun Spot Action Park. Screaming Swings, Lasers, and Gators oh my! But I do wonder what type of attraction Screaming Swings would be. I know two types of Screaming Swings: the type that are included in your park admission and the type that is an upcharge attraction. I do know the large ones that can hold forty riders at once are usually included in your park admission and the smaller versions, the ones that hold up to eight riders, are the upcharge versions. The video showcased the smaller Screaming Swings, so will this be an upcharge attraction or not? Too bad they aren't doing a dark ride next season. Oh well, maybe next time. robbalvey 89
^ The one pictured in the video is not an upcharge ride.
coasterbill 468
What a great addition. I was very impressed with both Fun Spot parks on our trip to Orlando earlier this year and will make it a point to visit whenever we're in Orlando. It's a nice break from the major theme parks and they always run the best programs possible on their rides. Kudos to them!

Well, admission at Fun Spot is free so technically everything is an upcharge.
djcoastermark 0
OMG OMG, screaming swings are finally here ! My favorite flat ! I have been waiting for FSO to get this put up and running ever since I saw it sitting across the street in pieces waiting to be put in its new home. FYI, the one at Kissimee is included with your POP armband, so I would imagine it will be the same in Orlando.
palmerleeberry 0
Well, thanks to everyone for their information concerning the Screaming Swings. I have learned three things: admission to Fun Spot Action Park is free ( just like Knoebels and Morey's Piers), you need to purchase a wristband to ride the rides ( also like Knoebels and Morey's Piers), and the Screaming Swings is included with the wristband ( Knoebels doesn't have one, but Morey's Piers does, but it's an upcharge attraction). I know everyone will be raving about Screaming Swings, but could anyone else begin a topic with the other two attractions: Laser and Gators? WHITE LIGHTING!- Can you survive its strike? Owl_Enthusiast 0
I was at Fun Spot on Monday and I have to say it was a nice little park. I had about half the day to kill between cheking out of my convention centre hotel and into my cheaper, closer to Universal Studios hotel. I have to say I really liked this little park! I walked around and had a look at everything before getting my ride on White Lightening. I loved White Lightning! It was so much for for such a small coaster. It had so much speed! I would have ridden the junior hang-and-bang, but I didn't feel like spending another 9$ on a ride when I don't really count credits. It looked great though. The go-kart tracks were awesome. I have never really been into go-karting, but these ones made me consider riding. This little park reminded me of my home park Playland in Vancouver, very carnival-ish just a bit smaller in size. If I'm ever in Orlando again, I would love to check out the Screamin' Swing
robbalvey 89
I forgot to post this in here. This might be the most fun I've had shooting video on a roller coaster! [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
DJeXeL 5
I'm not a huge fan of SkyCoasters but I do like the lighting package that Fun Spot had installed... Fun Spot Twitter
Brassinthegrass 0
Is it a solid color, or does it change? Either way I'm sure it looks phenomenal in the distance!
DJeXeL 5
Doesn't say but it would look great if the colors changed.
robbalvey 89
It's a solid color. It's usually emerald green (since they bought it from the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas) but for October they installed pink lights for breast cancer awareness. The green actually looks SPECTACULAR from a distance! I haven't seen the pink at night yet.
