astroworldfan1
^ What about house keys, and the little clicker to lock/unlock your car unless it comes attached to the key already.
onewheeled999
Why, why, why, why, WHY does the news keep focusing on that uninvited couple that went to the party with Obama? Â They're doing it for attention, nothing else. Â And they're giving them EXACTLY what they want! They're basically helping them become famous for pretty much nothing! Â The news just pisses me off right now.
ebl
"But I guess at 16 you wouldn't necessarily have multiple keys to put on a keychain." (themeparkman25) Â Guess I was strange because I had a bunch at that age. Â Eric
christianscoasters
I only have a single house key. Hence, why I don't have a keychain.
cal1br3tto
I don't understand why you can't have a single key on a keychain. I do. My mom made me use it so the key would be easier to keep track of. Â Rant: I hate keyrings because they hurt my fingers. Why can't they just become obsolete? I mean, we have clasps and all that. no_brain_er
Okay, I'm going to rant about my job. Or, soon-to-be lackthereof. Â I work for CiCi's Pizza, which hardly counts as real pizza anyways (we all know it); at CiCi's, there's not a single job that isn't totally dignity-shattering, but I got stuck with the worst of them all: I go outside and shake a sign around that has the CiCi's logo on it. I did work inside for about a month (bussing tables, which isn't much better than shaking a sign), but they decided to move me back outside. Â Here's where the ranting really begins... Two weeks ago, I put in my Thanksgiving break into the "request off" book, and my manager comes up to me and says, "You know we're not going to need you after November, right?" Wait, what? "We're not doing the sign-shaking after this month, so you're gonna have to find something else to do." I was upset, to say the least, but I wasn't about to vocalize. After all, my name is still on the roster. So, I simply asked if I could be moved inside after they terminated the "Shaker" position. The reply: "We just hired four people, but I'll see what I can do." That's just fancy manager-talk for "No." It really grinds my gears - the fact that I've been working there since April, and yet when I'm about to lose my job, they hire FOUR new people and leave me for bust. Granted, it was just a part-time job. But still, if you work at a place for almost eight months and are suddenly told that you are going to lose your job despite the fact that there WERE open positions in the exact building you worked for, wouldn't you be angry too? Â Oh, but it gets better. I go in today (December 4, after the month of November) to get my final paycheck, and I find out that I'm working the next day! It seems as though my manager forgot to mention that they had extended the termination up to next weekend. The least they could have done is call my house and leave a message saying, "We decided to extend your termination for another two weeks, see you Saturday morning!" That's all it would have taken to avoid upset and disappointment. I had plans, but I had to alter them just so I could work tomorrow morning! And, to put the icing on the cake, it's SNOWING ALL MORNING tomorrow. In northwest Georgia! That's not supposed to happen! Â So, to summarize (if you don't feel like reading all of that), my employer told me that they were laying me off at the end of November, and here I am, in December, with snow in the forecast, being called back in for two more weeks. And I'm still losing my job afterwards. Â I'm very angry right now. Â
ebl
^ Sorry to hear of your troubles. It's too bad that you wouldn't have at least been offered one of the positions inside the store when the shaker position ended. Â Over the years, I've found myself on the receiving end of a job termination for questionable reasons. It's just part of being in the American workforce. DBru
PLEASE FIX THE FACEBOOK CHAT! Â Over the past few weeks, the Facebook chat has been acting up to the point where it is impossible to have a full conversation (without interruption) using it, and therefore, is currently pointless. Â Please join this group to support the idea of Facebook staff fixing the problems involving chat at the moment, so that we can all continue our discussions and connectedness with friends on this website. Â http://www.facebook.com/home.php?filter=app_2361831622#/group.php?gid=192164029370&ref=search&sid=775020617.3316604308..1 Â Â I have sent a message to Facebook staff concerning these problems with the Facebook chat, and hopefully they will take them into consideration. Until then, I have recently formed this group to help build up a large base of people to show the administrators just how much support is behind repairing the application. Â Â Â Sorry to plug this into two different topics, but the status of the Chat as it is right now is very aggravating and rant-worthy, and something really needs to be done. Â I'd really appreciate you joining!

netdvn
^^ FB Chat has always been slightly screwed up when using Firefox (at least for me). In fact, Firefox and Facebook don't seem to mix well together compared to IE. Â Knowing Facebook and... 1. The fact that even though most Facebook members have expressed disdain for all the changes being made constantly yet they still make unnecessary changes. 2. The fact that Facebook STILL hasn't installed a "dislike" button despite everyone asking for one.... 3. The fact that Facebook and Firefox don't work well together, for example... - The app dashboard goes missing - I can't click certain links - Some links take me back to my homepage - Chat messes up - I can't type comments without refreshing Something needs to be fixed... 4. Fake applications like "New Chat" are still operational... Â Facebook isn't gonna do anything about the chat system, no matter how many people join some group. Â Rant Time: Freezing cold + no snow + finals = I'm very unhappy...
themeparkman25
^ Freezing cold + snow + finals = I'm very unhappy. Â Do you have windows 7? I swear Windows and Firefox are bitterly divorced because they never seem to get along.
netdvn
I use XP, but considering Firefox is a serious contender for IE8, I'm not surprised to see FF acting up on Win7. This also happens with FF browsers on other XP machines as well. Â It has to do with Facebook's coding apparently according to some of the Firefox support forums I've browsed through. I save an f***ing file to it at school on Friday( a huge a** report no less!!!) so I could finish it this weekend and turn it in on Monday, the due date. ebl
^^ Even if you can't e-mail the file, at least save it to an earlier version. Then you can open it at home or anywhere else. onewheeled999
So I didn't get the achievements in Mass Effect for finishing the romance subplot (which I had no idea how I missed), having a Krogan ally for a majority of the game (I had Wrex for every mission I could, but it didn't work!), finishing a majority of the game, and all the paragon/renegade achievements... Homeboy23
This girl at work who reported me and two other guys to HR for talking about the Steelers losing. Yes, you heard that right, she reported us for talking about sports because she is a Steelers fan. Â She later emailed one of the guys and said that she doesn't talk about his KIDS so he shouldn't talk about her Steelers.
