Option 3 : 9

From the Data

Total number of student = 60

Number of boys = 5/7 of Number of girls

So, Number of boys : Number of girls = 5 : 7

then, Number of girls = (7/12) × 60 = 35

Number of girls who like roses = (2/7) × 35 = 10

Number of boys who like sunflower = 60% of number of boys = 6

Number of girls who likes sunflower = 2.5 × Number of boys who likes sunflower = 2.5 × 6 = 15

Number of girls who like lotus = 35 - 15 - 10 = 10

Number of boys who like Lotus = (15/150) × 100 = 10

Number of boys who like roses = 25 - 10 - 6 = 9

Difference the number of boy who like sunflower and lotus and number of girls who like sunflower and roses = (15 + 10) - (10 + 6)

⇒ 25 - 16 = 9

**∴ The required answer is 9**
