I noticed the same thing...I was hoping that he would comment on the recent work done on I305

He did...but off camera...and I'm not allowed to mention what was said. To be honest, if the discussion in the KD discussion thread wasn't such full of "nonsense" (and that is exactly what Sandor called it - yes, he's read the comments), I would at least hint to what is happening, but unfortunately there are enough bad apples to have ruined it for everyone else, sorry!

I am wondering the same thing. I love Huss rides and they seem to have fizzled out in the past few years on installs. Are they really just doing parts now?

he made it clear (twice) that I305 was from Intaride and not Intamin and appeared through facial expressions that he wasn't proud of it.... Anyone think I'm reading too much into this after watching the video?

 

I'm no good at reading minds however Sandor was the Intamin/Intaride's rep at I305's Media Day.

 

I don't know if "wasn't proud" is the right expression but maybe just a bit uncomfortable as he probably saw the question coming a mile away.

Are the vendors and exihibitors really candid with you off the camera? I'm always impressed with how candid vendors will be with me, when they know that I'm on the level and we are speaking in a one on one situation. (In a totally different line of work)

 

I'd also like to mention (and I'm sure it's been mentioned before) that Robb could easily grill all of these manufacturers on camera in 2010, but then at 2011 IAAPA no one would speak with him. I hope everyone can appreciate his diplomacy.

The more and more I see about the Texas Giant redo, the more I am excited about it. I remember when I went to SFOT, that ride was so impressive looking... and then not that impressive of an actual ride. Looks like this will shape it up to be much more exciting and enjoyable.
