chemical_echo
Saw Rise Against with Rancid and Saint Alvia last night on the last stop of their tour. I didn't pay much attention to Saint Alvia, but they were ok. Rancid put on a pretty good show, ending with Ruby Soho. Rise Against were insane. Opened with Collapse (Post Amerika), ended with Ready to Fall, and did pretty much every one of my favorite songs by them including Saviour and The Good Left Undone. I didn't have the greatest seats, because I bought a 4 pack special for $15 a tickets, but it was still a decent view. My camera has a 10x zoom, so I was able to get some good pictures and video. Performing Hero of War Taken from my seat Rise Against taken from the big screen Rancid...yes, with a cello

Leaping La Ronde Boobis
I saw the Dirty Projectors on July 21st. I saw them open for TV on the Radio in June and they really wowed me. Now that I'm familiar with their repetoire, I had to see them again. As usual they were fantastic, I'd be surprised and disappointed if these guys don't make it big. (8/10)
Franc
Osheaga Day 2; RAINY DAY so I was only there in the evening. I'm not a fan of standing in the rain. I saw Rufus Wainwright, The Decemberists, Tiga, Arctic Monkeys and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Guest
Last night I went to see the metal gods, Judas Priest, at Universal in LA. The opening band PopEvil didnt really fit the bill. Actually all three bands were entirely different which was interesting. PopEvil wasnt anything special, they had a few songs that sounded like radio pop-rock and the singer thought he was Michael Jackson or something. Most people didnt bother to see them and opted to stand outside and smoke instead, the venue was maybe 15% full for their set and they had a pretty long set for an opening act. Whitesnake had their moments. They still sound really fresh and healthy, they played some old stuff and new stuff and closed with Still of the Night. In the middle of their set they did a really long guitar duel which was cool. Coverdales mic was extremely loud, he was holding it like a foot away from his face and it still was ear-splitting. Priest came out and blew the roof of the place. I had always thought British Steel was one of their softer albums until hearing it last night and it was nothing short of an epic heavy metal performance. My ears are still ringing from Halfords screams in Victim of Changes, Glenn and KK are playing heavier now than ever, Scott Travis is a beast (though I couldnt see him because a speaker was in the way, I could definitley feel that double bass shaking the venue). Its hard to believe these guys are in their 60's and still destroying the stage, of all the bands ive seen including Iced Earth, Megadeth, Children of Bodom, and AC/DC, Priest had by far the heaviest sound. It was also great to see so many fathers with their sons there giving them a lesson in real music, those kids better appreciate it. This was their setlist: Rapid Fire Metal Gods Breaking the Law Grinder United You Dont Have to be Old To Be Wise Living After Midnight The Rage Steeler The Ripper Prophecy Hell Patrol Diamonds and Rust Freewheel Burning Victim of Changes Youve Got Another Thing Coming Popevil Whitesnake

ash.1111
I saw David Copperfield on Thursday night and it was amazing! Seriously, it was the best concert I've ever been to... if you can call it a 'concert'. It was entertaining, funny and unbelievable all at once! It was his 'An Intimate Evening Of Grand Illusion' show, which is the exact same as you would see in Las Vegas or anywhere else you see the show. I guess it was a shame that it didn't go longer than 1.5 hours, but it was still amazing nonetheless. It was funny to have watched YouTube videos of some of the acts from 5 years ago and still see them in his show, with the same backing music. If you love watching his acts on TV and are not short of cash, I would seriously recommend his show! I couldn't attach any photos because cameras weren't allowed inside. rollerboy
LETTERStoLEADERS last night. It was such great fun. Despite there's only about four of us moshing. Me crowdsurfing. The boy who I'm crushing is the singers brother.
Philrad71
Gene Ween solo last night at Mohawk Place in Buffalo - awesome! Place was extremely hot, dank, dirty, dingy...one of the most ghetto clubs I have ever been in. But despite the head-butt holes and fist punches in the graffiti-laced bathrooms, the place offered reasonable drink prices so that more than made up for the beer bottles and puke in the urinals! Gene was awesome...played most of my favorites with acoustic/electric guitar as well as some songs on the piano. Not quite as tight as when the entire band is playing together, but definitely one of the better shows I have been too!

Leaping La Ronde Boobis
Modest Mouse at the Metropolis on 8/19 It was their tour opener and they put on a really good show. The only thing was that they didn't play Float On. It would have made a good closer and climax for the show but they didn't play it. Kind of ended it on a sour note... still, good show (8/10). cprocks22
Blink 182 with Fall Out Boy/Panic at The Disco/Chester French last night at DTE in my home town. The opening acts honestly weren't that great. The only decent one was FOB and I've seen them live already (me and my friends ALL agreed the lineup with Weezer and Taking Back Sunday would've been TONS better). That said...Blink was absolutely incredible. Seriously the best concert of my life, no exaggerating or anything. I didn't care that it was 60° outside in August or that our seats were WAY in the back of the pavilion, it was just too awesome. If you're even the slightest fan, I COMPLETELY recommend seeing them live. It's well worth the money.
Hckystr91
I saw 3 Doors down, Staind, Hinder, and Jet Black Stare last summer in Portland, Maine. socalMAN123
Last Saturday my dream finally came true. I saw the best band in the world. I saw...The Aquabats. They were quite possibly the best band I have EVER seen live. EVER. I had so much freaking fun listening to the random banter from MCBC and the rest of the band. And the music was awesome, I'm going to go see them September 12th at the Glass House too, super stoked for that. Then the next day, Sunday, I went to Vans Warped Tour. I was quite blown away, I discovered a lot of really awesome bands. In entirety of their sets, we saw Saosin (meh), TAT (Britain can still make awesome punk bands), Streetlight Manifesto (always put on a fantastic show, always!), Less Than Jake (love them), Big D and the Kids Table (WIN!!!!), NOFX (quite funny), and...The Adicts (one of my new favorite bands)! ---Brent
cosmic hearse
I haven't seen The Adicts in years! I remember seeing them back in high school they are a really fun band live. You should try seeing them at a smaller venue when you get a chance. How long did they play? I kinda wanted to go see The Aquabats too, who are they playing with at the Glasshouse? So, SO good, I really hope I get to see them sometime in the near future. krouvi
Two days ago I saw Madonna in concert in Israel. It was her final concert and amazing.
