Calaway Park
THIS IS AN OLDER POST, the new song mentioned in the title is on page 2 of this thread. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bu2wHJIS0NU This is my new progressive house track, it's an emotional track that I got the idea for when I was under a lot of pressure, it's only got a small vocal section. I've been producing music for a couple years now (some of you may remember my older music!) And I think I've finally found my niche. Please listen with earphones as the track is binaural (as in the events of the track aren't only stereo, they surround you, things happen in front of you and behind you as well) and there are a lot of subtle nuances. This will sound odd but I usually recommend turning your lights off and closing your eyes, it lets you only focus on the music, it's even a little euphoric. I'm really impressed with how this has turned out and I hope you guys enjoy listening as much as I have producing. Thanks Edited September 6, 2010 by Calaway Park
jmicha
This is really impressive, not going to lie. I have it on repeat at the moment. Definitely the best I've heard from you so far. Keep going with this style, it seems to suit you very well. I will continue listening to this for the rest of the night. Thank you for the eargasm

jmicha
^You've had some pretty interesting songs from what I've seen. Mannequin (or whatever it was called) still pops into my head every now and again. You definitely have talent, and I'm excited to see what you do with it. P.S. And this is despite completely disagreeing with you on the iPhone

Vekoma Fan Boy
Eh, not my thing, its good, but my problem with this kind of music is that it doesn't really "do" anything. Its just kind of there. At least, in my opinion. Despite that I liked your Facebook page and put a post up on my wall recommending my friends to check it out.
jmicha
^This type of music definitely isn't for everyone. Personally this is exactly my type of music and is perfect for doing schoolwork to or anything of the like. P.S. I still greatly dislike the iPhone (not just the 4, all of them. And any smart phone trying to be it for that matter)

Yeah, that's what I used to think until I got into the genre It's progressive, it's subtle and a lot of times you don't notice the changes, but it swells and swells as time goes on, one of the best things to do is to listen near the end of the track and listen to the beginning and you'll be surprised how different it is. It's most certainly not just a loop on repeat for 8 minutes And thanks man! I really appreciate that =]

This is the classic complaint about progressive house that has been going around for as long as it has been around. I've seen some of the big name DJs, like Sasha and Digweed, and you could say the same about them as well. They never really moved the dance floor like a regular house DJ like Derrick Carter would. Then again, I haven't really payed attention to music for about 10 years or so.

Calaway Park
Less than two months ago is not the depths of nowhere. I didn't mean time as much as I meant how many pages it was back from the front page, but regardless, no big deal, now that I know I can just bump this one I'll use it.
