Coaster Cow
Better to see them designed into a ride than installed later.
The_Mad_Hatter
It looks more like the trims are on the up hill directly after the launch which I would consider a good thing--The park probably wanted a nice fast launch speed, but nothing too forceful over the hill. I love the turns of the coaster. Definitely looks like an improvement over Rip Ride Rocket to me.
Loefet
Are you sure that they are trims, they could be a set of boosters to give be sure to get the train over the hill? Or just be a part of a roll-back system. Â Either way this thing looks really nice, can't wait until I get a chance to ride one of these large models. Gigalyte
that coaster was absoultely gorgeous until I saw the trims, what is with this new trend of I want a super fast launch coaster I just dont want to spend the money to create a real layout that can handle the speed and the forces to hande such a powerful lauch? I know it would be expensive so just go with a launch coaster thats fast and can have a trimsless layout forget the bragging rights, coasters about have fun not hitting 200mph and then 50 ,ph whting a millisecond  They could have easily created a lauch over that hill with out the need of trims, oh well whats done is done hopefully it can still be a fun ride. Coaster Cow
I don't think people realize the use of trim brakes in these situations. Riding a coaster that has had trims put in after the ride has opened can definitely crush the riding experience. But here's the thing: When coasters have them built into the ride, THAT MEANS THE RIDE WAS DESIGNED TO STILL BE EXCITING WITH THEM IN. Sure, it may not have the potential that it could have had, but people don't realize that the ride would probably then be painful, as it was built with the trims in consideration. Â Coaster fans seem to be naturally pessimistic. Why not say that you're happy that you'll get a more powerful launch, knowing that the rest of the ride will have to be taken at a slower speed knowing that the alternative is a slower launch to reach that same speed, rather than frickin' complaining all the time? Â Sorry, rant over. Have a nice day.
braztaz
Yeah, seriously....if there weren't any trims, I'm sure the launch would be way less powerful than it will be with the trims... Â I'm glad for trims built into these types of rides, it means the ride can achieve it's maximum speed without having to go a bonus 100+ feet in the air. Ledgy
There happened something really magical at Rainbow Magicland during the winter / christmas time. See it with your own eyes... www.rainbowmagicland.it ( ) www.rainbowmagicland.it ( ) www.rainbowmagicland.it ( ) www.rainbowmagicland.it ( ) www.rainbowmagicland.it ( ) www.rainbowmagicland.it ( ) www.rainbowmagicland.it ( ) www.rainbowmagicland.it ( ) www.rainbowmagicland.it ( ) www.rainbowmagicland.it ( ) www.rainbowmagicland.it ( )  The Park has now it´s own official Facebook page. There I found these great pictures.  The Homepage got also some changes. Now, there is a story behind the park and each attraction, they add a nice park map and the attractions got their names. But sadly it´s still not available in english, so I we can´t get the story they made for the park, it seems really interesting and there are nice mascots (WINX Club Elfs and HUNTIK Secret Seekers included)  Look here - for the homepage- for the park map (you have to click in the middle of the side)- for the Flicker page- for Twitter page- for Rainbow Magicland Blog  The names for the attractions are: "Shock" for the Maurer Launch Coaster"Olandese Volante" for the Vekoma Mine Train"Gran Theatro" for the show theater"Drakkar" for the Rapids"Spillwater" for the Log Flumes / Splash"Dark Ride interactivo" for the interactive Dark Ride "Torre Gaduta" for the 70m high Drop Tower"Castellio di Alfea" for the WINX CastleThe name of the Maurer Spinning Coaster is not listed, yet  The unofficial Rainbow Magicland Facebook page has many new photos, too! I would post them, but can´t today. All I can say is that the park´s themeing is amazing! Have to go to work now.  Maybe some of our italian members can add more concret information about the story and photos for us, that would be great.  EDIT: I forgot to mention, that you can see a video of the Maurer Launch Coaster at the "Shock" attraction side!!! You reach it over the park map.

dibilele
The name of the Maurer Spinning Coaster is "CAGLIOSTRO"! Â "Gran Theatro" for the show theater ---> Gran Teatro "Dark Ride interactivo" for the interactive Dark Ride ---> Dark Ride Interattivo (Maybe this isn't the definitive name) "Torre Gaduta" for the 70m high Drop Tower ---> Torre Caduta (Maybe this isn't the definitive name) "Castellio di Alfea" for the WINX Castle ---> Castello di Alfea "Spillwater" for the Log Flumes / Splash (Maybe this isn't the definitive name) Â The interactive Dark Ride will have 4D projections! Â Â (Google Translator) "Skip to the vehicle and prepared, this time you will have to rely on your reflexes and your aim, because some people will do anything to embarrass. Not to mention that you want to keep your reputation as a good shooter, then you will be competing with your own companions adventure! Â The interactive dark ride based on the world Huntik is an immersive experience in so many ways: an extraordinary journey between worlds real and imagined, made up of incredible scenery and 4D projections, coupled with a challenge that calls visitors to participate actively. Â Highly interactive attraction, with the charm of fantasy and science fiction archeology: the first in Italy to combine projection and 4D shot. Â A Rainbow Magicland, from spring 2011!"
