The Official TPR Bag of Crap Thread!

Recommended Posts

Can I just say that from reading this thread it is very nice to see Robb and Elissa giving so much back to the community that supports them. So many other websites just take your money of a subscription without actually giving much back, and it's so nice to see the kindness that you both provide. I guess it's one of the major reasons why TPR is the only theme park forum that I read for news apart from local ones more targeted at Australia.

I do kind of wish that the TPR bag o crap competitions were able to be entered by people from overseas, but I can understand why you have limited it due to postage costs unless that rule has changed and i'm not aware of it.

Keep up the amazing work Robb and Elissa, and I'm sure if you keep the attitude you guys have... well it's just like Indian food, it's always better the next day

We actually DO have Bag-O-Crap contests that include overseas. This past one had winners in Australia, Germany, Belgium, Canada, Portugal, more! The current video Bag-O-Crap contest that is stickied on the forum is also open to international members.

Well... it goes to show that I haven't read the new T+C for the Bag-O-Crap contests as I do remember there being something a while back about it. Oh well... guess i've just missed out on crap that I could have won! Will keep an eye out on your contests in the future

Good and bad news.

The good news is that my bag didn't get lost in the mail somewhere

The bad news is that the Belgian post is holding the package, because they need to charge me import duties for it. I suppose they opened the package because there was a letter in the mail, saying that they couldn't find an invoice in the package and I need to inform them the value and send them a creditcard or paypal proof so that they know the value and can charge me import duties .....

I didn't read the letter myself yet (my wife at home called me about it) but ooooohhh, I soooooo 'love' this country. Curious how smooth it will go to convince them it's a gift and how much time and frustration it will cause to me before I can actually hold my bag of crap

In any case, most important thing to know for now, is that my bag of crap didn't get lost

^ That's not nice of them. Of course, I was suspecting Canada Customs

was holding mine up for the same reason...import duties.

But - they didn't - and it ARRIVED Ten Minutes Ago!

I have things to do soon though, so I will hold off opening 'it' until this afternoon.

For now - Thankyou TPR!

Here it is, safe and sound in my rocker recliner chair. Received at 10:45 am PST. (o:

^Jealous

Just finished writing an email to Bpost. Except for the duties/tax they want to levy, our beloved Bpost wants to charge me an intervention fee too

Anyway, I hope my nice email will do the trick and very soon I will be able to discover my bag of crap and write a big thank you to Robb and Elissa

And I'm still very happy that I know where the package is and that Bpost didn't make it disappear 'by accident'

wowowowowowoWOW!

Just opened the package up, and the first thing I spotted (SQUEEEL!) was that

Mickey Mouse Cap from WDW with the (ahem) "Fantasyland Overlay" lol!

Very cool, thank you. And a pair of Socks, too! Now that's random!

And lots of stuff - paper, plastic, cloth and...undetermined.

So, here's a rough run through (and all over) in photos of everything I got.

And Robb, Elissa and TPR, thanks so much for all of this. I love it all!

Package takes a rest, before I rip it open and generally destroy it!

CP02.jpg.424f5b69ef2089e7dfd0f708beb9ce17.jpg

That All-Important Label of Class & Artistry

CP03.jpg.e06eca13ddbac1fc0d8bea84d64b2314.jpg

Pulling it all out of the box. Ooooo whats that, on top? A bit later....

CP04.jpg.851810cb6d576ce6a032cf4160916778.jpg

All in a heap, that's how it started out. And I see SOCKS!

CP05.jpg.e66af410265e4485c57a1e4e6d656b68.jpg

The cap! The 'overlay'! I love it!

CP06.jpg.80cfedc0a9e13e047aad085ee83c374e.jpg

How it all goes together. Has this been done before, or was the new Fantasyland overlay the first one done?

CP07.jpg.91fbc386b2e2e63ca90f62ff3f07a68b.jpg

Bit more cleared up.

CP08.jpg.b70acc881ef7f95ab8751b4e5aef50a0.jpg

Buttons, Club TPR swag, rain poncho, cooling cloth, flat magnets, drinking glass...outstanding!

CP08alt.jpg.bcaf630eaa7881b57be127e34426d926.jpg

And these two little....things. I suspect the one on the right

is from a Japan Capsule Machine, but the one on the left? Not too sure...

T-SHIRTS! 2012 China Tour, Goldstriker Opening, YOLO!, and WCB 2013!

Awesome! Now I can pretend was there last year, for all of it! (o;

Stack of maps.

CP11.jpg.31b0afd2d73c62ccc36feb209e14b606.jpg

A bit more organized (ha). Some I can't read. (Is that an Arabic one on far left there?)

Others I know too well (Disney!). And everything in between. Theme Park Maps = Happiness.

Closer look at the TPR themed and co-sponsored stuff.

Now - if I don't win that upcoming Scandi Tour Grand Prix...can I wear this on the rest of the tour? Plplplease?

Ah John Carter, I hardly knew ye. Or even saw the movie, either.

CP15.jpg.11676ed7f4df7c54b50ea64582b51354.jpg

And I bet the Vinylmation has done better in sales than the movie did, LOL!

Close up on the glass and the cooling towel.

CP17.jpg.82dfd5505fb218195228873f2e59d839.jpg

And a brand new (I love red!) TPR bag with Coaster Expedition Vol.14 dvd, thank you!

THANK YOU TPR!

EDIT To Add: I immediately put the Mickey Mouse Cap upstairs with the "Current Cap Collection."

And the little Bee and Mushroom I got have found their way to my TPR Donkey and cart.

It's on the right there, on top of the HKDL-GrizzlyGulch cap, with all the ears across the top.

And about 20 (or so) more older caps, are packed away in the cedar chest. (o:

Mushroom gets a ride from donkey. Bee just hangs out.

You folks can really dish out the crap! I have to agree with most that this web site is really the tops when it comes to your relationship with your members. I really hope one day I can meet you Robb and Elissa and other members from this board.

Today was the day. My package arrived sound and well this morning I had to pay some 24 euro to B(loody bastards)post. But though I really really really hate them, I've never been more happy to give money to our beloved government than this time

What a huge bag of crap. I loved to unpack it together with my youngest daughter. And she really loved it too. She put everything on the ground for the pictures. Here we go
