They told me theres a Geauga Lake keychain in it, which TOTALLY ROCKS, because I have a GL collection, seeing as it was on of my home parks (CP&GL), and I think its a tragedy what happened to it. I was expecting a single card to come in the mail, but TPR went above and beyond and sent me a full Bag-O-Crap! This came in the mail today (Christmas Eve), and it is exactly what I wanted for Christmas. It was something we did for a year or so for Club TPR Members, but we discontinued it when there really wasn't much point since most of the content is available online anyway. Â A bunch of stuff from a movie called "John Carter", I haven't even heard of the movie before. LOL! Oh, I wish the Disney Studios marketing team were reading this! Â John Carter of Mars is a character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs -- also known for creating the (much more famous) character, Tarzan of the Apes. Â basically, John Carter is an American Civil War soldier, who is accidentally transported to Mars, and the "Barsoom" series of books by Burroughs (considered classics of American Pulp fiction) document his adventures there and his falling in love and marrying the Princess Deja Thoris. His adventures span, I think, 11 books from the early 1900's, tho the character was a staple of comics and serials since then (tho not as popular as Flash Gordon). Â Disney acquired the rights a few years back, and made an awful, awful film, that they marketed terribly (although to be fair, it LOOKED pretty), and the film bombed. Big time bomb. Â what was intended as the first film in a series, ended up being a series killer (the sequel never got green lit). Full of park maps, park bags, flyers, info.things, a Farup Sommerland t-shirt... a whole bunch of crap! Â Thank you thank you you THANK YOU Robb and Elissa and TPR! The box arrived late this morning! I poured it all out in one big happy pile. Then, I separated everything as much as I could.... Non-paper stuff (except the post its), including fridge magnets, drink container, bottle opener...stuff! The park maps and flyers. Everywhere from North America, Europe, Asia... Lots to read through and enjoy. (o: Information flyers/booklets, about events, coasters, coaster companies.
