ilrider
Robb and Club TPR got some nice press in Chicago's Daily Herald today! http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=400921
jamesdillaman
^ I like how the reporter specifically calls out the defunct backwards American Eagle as his 2nd favorite coaster at the park. Too bad management said it would never return...
Cameron
Raging Bull had just opened as well, and was awesome as it didn't have the infamous trim on it yet. Ah well, I'm sure it's still a good ride, just maybe not as kickass as I remember. The trims on Bull are pretty much unchanged from opening day .. sometimes they grab hard, other times not so much .. it all depends upon the speed of the train. Just something we have to live with. That said, the event on Friday kicked more ass than an electrified ass-kicking machine cranked up to 11! Thanks so much Robb and Elissa, the folks at SFGAm, and of course all the awesome people who were at the event. Cameron.
PKI Jizzman
I loved Raging Bull. One of the best first drops, one of the best endings, and also the worst trim. I'm not going to dwell much on it, because it was better than Diamondback and on par with Goliath at SFOG! I am just bummed that the new B&M trains can't be as twisty as the older ones. Bull was very different, and that was a great thing! Must....edit...photos to post a photo trip report...

coasterer
There was that one ride on Raging Bull when we first got there for ERT after a ride or two on Viper where the brake didn't catch all the way, and the track was still really wet, and we just flew through the block break to top it all off - I've taken nearly 150 laps on Raging Bull and I can honestly say that was the best ride I've ever had on it. radiohead8989
This was a great event. I had my best rides of the year on Viper. The big storm was just what we needed.

I'll quote this for truth. Our first ride on Bull during ERT was just off the chain.
cal1br3tto
^I didn't get to experience that as I was still on Viper, but I did get the very back for the last ride of the night, and the prevailing wisdom is correct: one must ride Raging Bull in the very back row in order to get amazing ejector on the first drop. "Near" the back simply doesn't compare. I'm so glad I lucked out and finally got to try it.
