Well, if they are anything like cedarpoint, they will shut the rides down if there is a sprinkle of rain.

Wouldn't surprise with the coasters. Guess some of the flats would still run......but I'm really only going for the coasters!

Forecast doesn't look good for Sunday - 40-60% chance of rain and scattered t-storms.

Finally took a closer look at the agenda. I see the Volcano, FoF, and i305 all start at 8:00. I didn't notice that before and was wondering how I was going to spend 90 minutes riding the i305 without passing out!

Well, I rode Timmy 5 times in 15 minutes at closing. I was wobly none the less, but it was the best 15 minutes of my life.

Good Luck with 1 Hour 30 Minutes on 3 intense coasters. (Everything but the launches on Volcano is unintense, but still)

Guys, don't fret too much over the weather. I was at SFGAm Day last week, and I seriously thought that American Eagle was going to be taken out by a tornado! I was also positive that ERT was going to be completely cancelled, but nonetheless, we got in our hour of ERT So ,don't worry about the weather, you WILL have a good time, no matter what.

Do you realize that Cedar Fair has a very conservative policy regarding operations in the rain?

^Exactly. In this lovely metropolitan strip, it's supposed to rain and be hot and humid almost every day. The latter part always comes true, but the rain hardly ever comes. Stupid weatherpeople.

I can't wait for tomorrow!!

Don't jinx it!

I had an absolutely AMAZING day at ECB, rain and all. Major thanks to KD for getting everything running and extra thanks to Robb for ordering that Grizzly Juice

The backstage tour was great. I've never been that close to an operating coaster, much less one traveling that fast. It was great to ask the park management questions and hear their answers. The TPR Quest Game was just insane. Thanks to everyone who put together ECB.

Pictures!

No hidden Mickey? Moving on then, lamewads.

We were seriously close to this sexy beast!

Amazing. You do realize how tall it actually is standing here.

Giant lift motor. Noisy lift motor.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOSH.

Bottom of the first turn

Beautiful coaster.

This is where it gets good

These supports are really beefy.

Wheeeeels! I wonder if they melt too. Trim the lift maybe?

Even with trims this is still a great hill. Nice floaty air.

Beware the violent seatbelts.

Wheeeee!

It's really FLYING through here.

We could get some seriously AMAZING shots from back here.

OMG WE HAVE A VERTICAL LIFT!!!!

Sexy train booty.

Bout to blackout.

GENTLEMEN! START YOUR ENGINES!

Cause y'all are deprived of American steel.

Anaconda's lift motor

Anaconda's bottom sprocket.

And we got The Intimidator. Holy crap. So good.

Thanks to all y'all who made it great.

What an absolutely FANTASTIC day. Very many thanks to Robb, John, Elissa, Rose, and everyone else who helped to make East Coast Bash so great! I guess in return I can share a few pictures. Oh, and extra thanks to Mr. John Pagel for texting the rain gods and getting them to fix the weather problems!

Can someone explain to me why 'Drop Zone' had to go? This makes me feel like I'm at Knott's riding 'Log Ride.'

Robb and John explain the rules of walk-backs: 1) Stay on track; 2) Don't get hit by trucks. I'm sure there were more...

This second hill is great to see head-one, the train just looks like it's disappearing. Which is probably is.

Well, this photo was taken from backstage! This part of the ride is sad - except you can't stop laughing and loving it!

That looks...promising.

Blurry Volcano nighttime ERT is fantastic! Especially when you've got the whole train to yourself, you're in the front row, and the train goes CRAZY fast. Volcano went from a relaxing, slow tour of the mountain to batshit-INSANE.

Ending the night with an hour and a half (plus some!) ERT on I305. Perfect! Thanks again to everyone who made this event - Dominator/Grizzly ERT, TPRQuest, I305 Tour, Volcano/FoF/I305 ERT - happen, you're awesome!!
