It's not my overall favorite coaster, but my favorite single ride on a coaster came on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland.

That ride is infinitely better at night than it is during the day, and on a chilly January night with a nice breeze, the train started up the second lift hill just as the grand finale of the holiday fireworks began. They were going off directly ahead of us, and it made for a really special moment, one that can not easily be duplicated.

(If only I had pictures of this moment ... !)

By parks that I have been to:

1. Space Mountain at Disneyland Park

2. California Screamin' at Disney's California Adventure Park

3. GhostRider at Knott's Berry Farm

4. SCREAM at Six Flags Magic Mountain

I wish to visit more parks in the future, maybe on a TPR trip. I also want to go back to Six Flags and ride X2 and Terminator

Nemesis - Alton Towers

It has the full package. Great theming, atmosphere, music. Wonderful intensity, totally smooth. One of the best layouts ever created and it's very forceful. How can it be anything but a 10/10 ride

Hi, I'm a new member and my favourite roller coaster is:

iSpeed - Mirabilandia

It's a Intamin LIM launched Coaster and can reach a speed of 120km/h (74mph) in 2 seconds.

Being that I've only been to two (Knotts and SFMM) parks..

These are my favorite rides....

Favorite Steel - Goliath

Favorite Wood - Ghostrider (circa 2000-2002)

Hypercoasters are my favorite types of rides because I love drops and these rides don't have inversions (inversions tend to give me a headache over a course of several re-rides).

I'm hoping I can get a better hypercoaster/giga coaster near me someday soon (2011, I hope) even though I know Six Flags Magic Mountain can use something else before having another similar type of coaster. i'm just a spoiled kid for living near MM during the years they had rollercoaster after roller coaster (1997-2003)
