ZeroGravity55
The same people who are/who will complain about us talking about the pathways will probably be the ones complaining about having to walk through the waterpark to get to T-Bird or will complain about the long walk back. Seeing how they do this will probably give us a better idea of how this area is going to shape up. That is why it's interesting to me. Excuse me for being interested in how the park might look in 5 years... Edit: Let me clarify why it's interesting. If they try and separate the pathways (which appears that won't be the case), I thought it was going to be permanent and Thunderbird would be the end of the line for the Thanksgiving section. Now that it appears that they're going to have guests go through the water park, I think it's only temporary until they're able to wrap the Thanksgiving section around Hyena Falls. When that happens, the new pathway will go straight under the launched section and the temporary pathway will become another entrance to the waterpark. Rickrollercoaster
Moving Hyena Falls still can't be written off yet.
Diamondbacker27
Moving Hyena Falls still can't be written off yet. Hyena Falls won't be moved ( Unless, plans change.) They even said that the layout is all part of their master plan. The water park will expand to there. So I see no need to move it.

i<3coasters
Did we ever find out who designed Thunderbird? It's a collaboration between Intamin & RMC
Rickrollercoaster
Nevermind it just says B&M. Was wondering if someone like Werner Stengel was involved.
Midgetman82
^Ah, I thought Vekoma was involved with the transfer track.
DJeXeL
Nevermind it just says B&M. Was wondering if someone like Werner Stengel was involved. B&M hasn't had Stengel's engineering firm do any designing for them for quite a while, sadly.
Rickrollercoaster
Walter and Claude are geniuses though. I don't care what anyone says.
DJeXeL
^I agree wholeheartedly, however B&Ms aren't built like they used to be.
KingRCT3
^ But for some of us, like me, they're far better than the old-schoolies.

The newer B&M with slower transitions rattle a lot more than the old ones.
ZeroGravity55
^ I'm gonna guess that has more to do with the trains rather than the track and if parks would ask B&M or tell them that this is a problem, I'm sure B&M would help them figure out how to fix it. Rickrollercoaster
If Holiday World could get Skillet or Red to play Rock The World, do you know how many tickets they would sell?
Mater
I really hope you mean Skillet from 12 oz. Mouse.
Rickrollercoaster
Dang! I look away for 5 minutes and you guys make more progress!
ZeroGravity55
I love seeing progress, but I much rather see that track coming toward the camera rather than going away from it (telling myself to be patient). Given how relatively short this ride is, am I the only one who thinks they could have the track work completed by January?
glouthan
^Maybe. But the testing couldn't be done until it gets warmer, so there would be no point to complete it that early unless they have to do a lot of electrical work.
ZeroGravity55
^ That was actually my thought. Plus the station, and Thunderbird plaza.
mikejenkins1
Well if classic B&M building of the ride, they start with the brake run and move forward. So it should be heading this way very soon.....

Given how relatively short this ride is, am I the only one who thinks they could have the track work completed by January? Considering that the winter is supposed to be worse than the last. (According to the news) I doubt it. Banshee had the brake run, first drop, lift hill, dive loop and part of the loop that circles the hill completed when the season ended. I know that this is a much shorter coaster, so who knows. It might be January, and it might be March Now, if HW was a Six Flags I would expect track to be completed around December next year. mikejenkins1
I would be sure they will get this built in a fairly quick time. Hey it's a B&M and they just get all the luck.
ZeroGravity55
I just ran across this on HW's FB page and can't believe I missed it a few days ago. I always look forward to seeing the design of the parks corn maze for Happy Halloween Weekends! Awesome!
