gisco
I don't even remember seeing this when we were there. Is this a separate gate?
StealthFan
Another Merlin park, another SeaLife center. This one does look a lot bigger then 2 UK based ones though.
Groteslurf
^^it's a separate gate at the parking lot  ^didn't do many sealife centers so far. Only the one at Legoland California. And the one at Gardaland s definitely much bigger than that one.
Groteslurf
Time for the pics of an epic night we had after our visit to Gardaland & Sealife. Medieval Times It's a dinnershow At the Movieland property 'I love you'. At least that's what it looks like they are saying. And here we are EB Hans Bart And Michael Ready to eat and drink Hans does this every time before eating Yes Hans .... a plate. Awesome !!!! Knights and horses The king looked a bit bored Yay, BEER !!!! Soup. Hi there !! Our knight Knights in pink I hate eating chicken with my hands, so I opted to the veggie menu. The 2 austrian girls next to me ordered the normal menu and got this And I was educated how to eat a whole chicken without fork or knife Hans & EB knew how to eat Michael was getting really excited after the beer he had Oh yeah, the knights were still fighting for the princess This is what the austrian girl 1 left on here plate ... I'll be soooo glad when I see my bed .... We didn't hear Michael the whole week, but at Medieval Times he was awake, more than ever !!! The only 6 kms of the trip I didn't drive. The evening was still young so we headed back to the village centre for some drinks bartime My friend was there too When we headed back to the hotel at around midnight, we heard music and partying on a hill .... so that's where we ended up. We had a great night with the locals at the party and to proof that I'll post a short video of the party that night in my next post. gisco
I have always wanted to do one of those Medieval Times. Just never had the chance when we were close to one. Was it all in Italian? Did you have any trouble understanding what was going on?
vuurvogel
I think it was trilingual. Italian, English and German. I remember most in English. We had no problem following the story, although I think I missed part of the story due to over interest in dissecting and eating my chicken. Groteslurf
Next update : Movieland Park Next morning we found our van repainted to the park we were going to that day. We saw a lot of weird signs on our trip. This is a sign at a bar in the nearby village. It's a pitty the live music was leaving .... My favorite park in Italy Crowds at opening time were very ok I like this new thing in the main street Another weird 'sign'. We were able to figure it out in the meanwhile. You too ? My favorite ride of the park, of the complete trip. Airtime !!! If there are hot babes on the seats next to you, put ..... I was sitting on the right seat on Magma, because I got really soaked. Next ride, Terminator. I liked it better before they made it a 9D ride or something of it. Police Academy NOTED ! The movie itself wasn't worth much, the in between pieces were great. It reminded me a lot of the Jimmy Neutron simulator at USO Dukes We'll do that later today Good this sign was there. I can't imagine what would have happened if it wasn't there ... We all live in a yellow submarine, yellow submarine ... Fake plastic Dinosaurs. Why did Radiohead didn't think about this and sung about trees in stead. I have the credit, I have the credit (when I rode it a few years ago with my daughter) New credit It's quite close to the ground Yeah ... You might get wet ... or soaked Don't remember why I took this pic .... John Rambo show Anybody home ? Where are you ? Hey !! That's our Medieval Times knight ! Need some horse ... I'm starting to remember why I took the earlier picture ... This is why !!! I could have done a booty poll again, but I'm sure this would be the winner .... And on to the waterpark .... where we were going to do exactly 2 slides ..... after which we had to go to the hospital .... Because Hans & EB did something like you can see in the below video on Twin Peaks. But don't worry, everything was repaired and we still had time to do an evening park in Milano as you will see in the next update. gisco
Aren't you supposed to stay on the tube? Â That was some serious air they got there. WHen we were there last year, we didn't have enough time to make it to the water park. Maybe it's an excuse to go back to Italy next year?
Groteslurf
^ Good reason to go back  I would like to explore the rest of the waterpark but no way going on Twin Peaks again, although Bart & I made it safely over the airtime hill. What the heck. I'm just reposting this pic once more :-)
vuurvogel
I have no problems with twin peaks. Great and insane slide. Everyone should try it out. Same for stuka's. The first step is a bit loony, but awesome.
Jew
I really loved Movieland when we visited in 2005. Does the Rambo show still feature guests from the audience being held hostage? Edited October 25, 2011 by Jew
Groteslurf
^ Yes, they still do that. Randomly take some visitors hostage and most of the show, put them in a cage from where they hardly can see what is going on
Groteslurf
Soon after leaving the hospital at the Gardalake, we arrived at our hotel in Milano, close to the evening park we had planned to visit : Europark Idroscalo, formerly known as Lunapark Milano. I'm so sorry, but I have to post this pic once more ... I was in charge of the hotel bookings and found this lovely Hotel Miami, very close to Europark Idroscalo It has a drive-in reception and the rooms are motel style. Little did I know that Hotel Miami was more of a rendez-vu hotel .... with VERY rendez-vu atmosphere lights in the room. Hans & EB even had a twin shower. The rooms had mirrors EVERYWHERE ... But for the mirrors you will have to watch this TR till the end Made it to Europapark Idroscalo Ray Round Themeparks in the dark are beautiful There is even a restaurant at the park. There are a lot of rides and 3 coasters. R&E, if you didn't plan include this park in the next year's Italy trip yet, try to squeeze it in the schedule. It's really a very nice place to spend an evening. Hans, about 2 hours after leaving the hospital He's really hardcore The bar was open Unlimited wristbands costed 12 euro or something if I remember well. Only this ride was an upcharge. Simulator The great wheel credit 2 Hi there Loved the ashtrays 'WTH are those adults on this ride and why are they taking that many pictures of it ????' To make the ride extra exciting, we left the lapbars open. Karting. My kart was like an old-timer ... Music Express Treno Fantasma Credit 3 Zy round Flume Yay for watershields Great ride Indoor giant swing With stand up option We had a great evening at Europark Idroscalo And as promised, the mirror pic of me and my brother in law sharing the bed . Thanks for reading. 1 more Italy update to follow.
