matteocrepaldi
I used to go to Fiabilandia when I was a little kid. Me, my brother and my parents used to spend about two weeks on the sea side and they used to take us there one evening after dinner. Everything still looks just like I remember it except those new rides. I loved the mine train and I remember I was really scared by the drop in the tunnell. Great report. It brought back some very nice memories!
Groteslurf
Thanks for all the comments Bill, the pizza was really quite good. And it was fun seeing the pizza being made through the small windows in the machine.

Groteslurf
Thnx for posting the POV Hans. Time for Mirabilandia This will sound weird, but this must have been my first sea sunrise ever Till then I've only been at the seasides in the west. So glad our van was still there Dammit, I forgot something .... Forgot to mention that there is wifi at the beach After a short drive, we arrived at Mirabilandia. Althoug we were there about 40 minutes before park opening, it took us till 20 minutes after park opening to buy a ticket, enter and get our V-pass. Why ? The ticket booths only opened a few minutes before park opening .... Let's do it Big splash Those guys were waiting for the splash Here it comes ... Here it is Katun is still very good Waiting for something For this Wild mouse The new Master Thai opened in the meanwhile V-pass was only valid for 1 side .... We thought .... Master Thai has a Mobius track, but you don't get out after riding 1 side, you do both tracks in 1 time. Mmmmhhh, is this 1 or 2 credits in this case ? Angles of Katun, you can now see from the Master Thai waiting row Best themed log flume boats in the world No V-pass on the kiddie, and seeing the waiting row, I was glad I already had the credit This credit I didn't have yet It's an excellent ride, but I expected more. It's not my nr 1 in Europe. No Elvis, All shook up is not the appropriate song here ! Italians must love Elvis It was EB's arms up day. I think he broke a record that day. 'Glad I broke the record because my arms started to hurt' I love the theming on the log flume You can see iSpeed (R.I.P. Steve J.) from the log flume 'Yeah, I'm really sorry but my arms started to hurt' Showtime Sing along Robb :I'd be safe and warm if I was in L.A. California Dreamin' on such a winter's day I wish I could do all the stunts they did with my beemer Donutting .... (Startrekkin' - The Firm) Wonderwheel pics Also new for me Love the theming. Wish Brian was driving us Actually, I don't remember much of the ride itself Still wondering why they named their 2 shot/drop towers like this ... The bimbo thing sounds awesome though
Groteslurf
Mirabilandia part II Phobia haunted maze It's an upcharge What would a visit to Mirabilandia be without riding this attraction Above the raft ride After a smooth drive we arrived at the Gardalake Great, our park for tomorrow is still there Dinner in the lovely village of Pescheira del Garda Bartime to end the evening It was such a great night
simon8899
is this 1 or 2 credits in this case ? I'd count it 2 credits. As we count each Boomerang or Wild Mouse I also count duelling coasters or the Matternhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland as 2 credits - of course to have ride both tracks! robinschroder
What a great combination Mirabilandia have in Katun and iSpeed! Great Wacky Worm video, by the way! It also brought back memories of the extreme Wacky Worm at Gardaland. Italy + Wacky Worms = A winning combination
matteocrepaldi
Great report! I was planning to get there next week but I can't find enough people to fill up my car! I guess I'll get the credits next year! Can't wait to read about Gardaland!
RoCo
Mirabilandia looks great, but that Wacky Worm at Fiabilandia is something to behold. Truly, The Mother of All Wacky Worms. Just goes to show: add some creative scenic elements/dark ride sections, and a very ordinary coaster becomes AWESOME. Great reports; looking forward to more! ernierocker
is this 1 or 2 credits in this case ? I'd count it 2 credits. As we count each Boomerang or Wild Mouse I also count duelling coasters or the Matternhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland as 2 credits - of course to have ride both tracks! People have their own way of counting credits, but mobius track coasters really should count as one as it is really one continuous track that goes through the station twice. This is probably why they operate the ride like this where you go through twice so you can complete the full circuit (finish on the side you started). Groteslurf
New day, new park : Gardaland. The only day on the trip we didn't have to drive long distances so this was going to be a long packed day. You'll see We started the day with Gardaland Our hotel was right beside the Gardalake so we had our morning coffee at the lakeborder Ok, no more lake pics, on to Gardaland Hooray for their new express passes Packed entrance at opening time, as usual As Mammut wasn't on the express pass we bought, Mammut was the first ride we headed to. Inferis wasn't on the express pass either Maybe we should have done Inferis later on the day, because we hardly noticed scare actors inside Waiting row One more Mammut pic before going on the Flying Island Raptor Rapers Drop tower I Corsari Movieland Studios : see you tomorrow Defunct theming Waterrides Another raper Mammut Raptor again Inferis 'building' Droptower waiting row Remainings of the mine train ride It's now a gold digger kiddie attraction Sad the mine is closed Raptor time The Raptor area is themed really well. There's also a Raptor show. Didn't do the show though Raptor main entrance Raptor was only opening at 11 AM, so a lot of people were waiting when we arrived. Raptor train A LOT of people were waiting in the meanwhile Let's do it. Through the express line of course It's easily my favorite ride in Italy now. So yes, I liked it more than Ispeed. I Corsari stairs down to the station it's really a very long dark ride, with some very good scenes The underwater part at the end is really amazing. It's feels like really being underwater. And now were above the water again Pain time ... Ramses Great building, bad movie Fuga More to come

RoCo
Another great looking Euro park I'm dying to visit someday. Raptor looks totally badass. And the dark ride with the "underwater" sequence?" Fills me with dangerous levels of want.
Six Flags Enthuseast
Excellent report! You took a lot of good photos of the rides, especially Raptor. I just went in August and had a fun time; I'm glad so many TPR members can make it down here to Italy and experience this awesome park! I'd definitely agree that Raptor is one of the best rides in Italy. I haven't had a chance to go to Mirabalandia and try Katun or iSpeed, but it tops the other 3 great Italian coasters I've ridden (Eurofighter at Fasanolandia, Shock at Rainbow Magicland, and Senzafiato at Miragica). fdelhomez
Nice report, did you notice that in Inferis there was 2 different ways? "saint" & "sinner" we did it twice and the sin way is much "scary" and filled with actors! And glad to see you liked a lot Raptor, it's one of my favourites also, nice pictures! Thanks a lot! When I went last year, I could not tell if there was a difference between Saint and Sinner. Then again I might have done the same side twice because I have a poor short term memory.
