Hhappy
A couple of weeks ago i had the idea to visit a couple of parks in Belgium (aka score some new credits) Things started rolling and before i knew it.. it was time. So after visiting Fort Fun (Germany) the previous day it was time for another early morning and a nice (long) drive to the next park. Bellewaerde Park in Belgium was the target for today. I did not know that much of the park before heading there and was just aiming for a relaxing day with some friends. Yes.. today was one of those rare days where i would not be visiting a park by myself (when not on a TPR trip). Thanks for the company Beeja, Hansrubens and (sorry i forgot your name) friend. Although we're not like the Brit-crew.. i had a great time and enjoyed this relaxing day at the park (although my legs are still killing me.. i need to get in better shape before the trips start) Belgium and water.. what a combo and fun enough blabla picture time (and yes.. there will be a lot of them ( 3 posts)) feel free to comment and i hope you like them. yes.. i made it.. and yes.. the sign is in 2 languages.. so a bunch of pictures will be like this, sings for the park index.. and the ride itself flower castle, anyway.. time to start walking and explore the park a little.. possibility for close animal encounters hmm, what are they looking at? that shape reminds me of better weather... on to the next section i think i see a credit.. no lawnmowers needed looking back at the station wink wink... come and check me out.. first things first.. sorry folks.. another "fine" dutch product what's in a name? warm up run with empty train.. not your every day station yup, another one in the poket prayer time love the hair can somebody translate? and yes.. it does go backwards as well, love the eyes keep on smiling.. what's in a name a ride and a bit of water getting closer... bulls eye el toro and one more soak for the fun of it.. next stop que area ehm.. there was lightning i surrended, please stop the lightning ok, now this is looking more familiar.. just waiting for that tune.. why am i stuck here pulling on a rope? Ledgy
Thanks Hanno, great pictures like always. Many memories came up while watching "Fort Fun" and "Belawaerde" - wasn´t there since I was a child. Guessed the next Trip after "Fort Fun" would be Panorama Park, but it doesn´t have a coaster credit anymore. By the way, don´t know where you are right know. Plan to visit Drievliet, Duinrell and Walibi World this week. I´ll be in the netherlands from Wed.-Fri.

themeparkologist
Wonderful pictures, Hanno! It looks like there's a lot more to do than rcdb let on. Also, I believe the Mayan sign said,"Run away from the excruciatingly painful Vekoma rides and their crazy Dutch designers!" Hanno, two questions: 1. Is Bellewaerde in the Dutch speaking part of Belgie of the French speaking part of Belgique? 2. How long is your trip going to last? Or if it has already ended. EDIT: Disregard the second question, I now read the little thing at the top.
jjune4991
Great pictures Hanno. I really wish I could go to a park with a topple tower. Looks so awesome. And that park as well looks great. Thanks again!

milst1
Great pictures, Hanno! Bellewaerde was one of the few parks we missed on our great NL-BE tour last summer. What park were you thinking about for Koninginnedag (Queen's Day)?
Beeja
Great report from a great day! I really enjoyed your company too and I hope this was the first of many park visits together! Your pics are extremely beautiful, I will not post mine because they will look like sh*t next to yours... Anyway, Bengal Rapid River was a wet ride already, my pants were still not completely dry when I got in my car to return home! You weren't on it, you can't tell!! Well, hope to see you soon again! thomas2
Thank you for this trip report. I myself have never made it to Bellewaerde, mainly because I live on the opposite side of the country and they don't have that much attractions.
hansrubens
Great pictures Hanno.. as usual!! Glad there was a line at El Volador so we could make our minds up. After we saw how wet they came out of it we did the most sensible thing... run away from it. PS my friends name is Peter. ----Hans
