Photo TR: Kings Island Opening Day 2010

Hello! My first trip of the year was Kings Island! April 17. It was an awesome day even though Invertigo broke down 3 times that day. everyone was scared to ride it! Here was the day's conclusion,

 

Diamondback x2

Adventure Express x1

Action Theater x1

Beast x1

Crappy day. Right? Most things were hour waits but I got a lot of video to make into a video. Here are some pictures.They are a little our of order but, not too much.

Sorry, I didn't ride much that day. I didn't ride anything in Planet Snoopy. it looked good to me though.

Um, same old bumpy, but the second part of the ride after the lift hill, kills your thighs. I think it gets worst every year. Also I was dissapointed because the Adventure express also killed. Do not ride Adventure Express. Maybe because it is just the opening day but you never know.

^That part after the second lift hill on Beast was horrible when I rode, I thought I was going to break some ribs. So Adventure Express is not only dumb but painful as well now.

Basically! Well, the beast kills even more on the second part of the ride!

I know you're only 11 years old, so great effort for your age! But you asked for how you did so here is some of my advice:

 

1. You have a lot of photos of coasters but no trains on the track. Coaster photos look MUCH better when a train full of fun, happy riders. Next time, wait that few extra minutes for a train to come by. I know sometimes they are had to photograph, but if your camera has a "burst mode" on it, try that! Your Vortex pictures are a good example of this. More of that please!

 

2. Turn off the date stamp!!! It really kills the pictures.

 

3. On some of the photos where you have the fence there. Try to get the lens through the holes in the fence, if it's allowed. That way it doesn't obstruct the picture.

Nice TR, pretty nice pic, overall nice. Robbs advice was basically all ya need to know. In reference to the Beast, it has been gettin bumpier over the years somehow I can bear it pretty fine despite my size. The helix at the end is pretty tough though. Thanks for the TR, hope to see some more from ya.

Usually, I'm not crazy about coaster pictures with a lot of supports and such blocking the view of the train, but this is a good one.

 

 

It sums up the Vortex "experience" very well.

Anyways, great to hear I wasn't the only one up at KI yesterday. I actually didn't see any other TPR members up there, or atleast anyone else sporting the gear (I was in my magical TPR hoodie). Did you end up trying anything in Camp Snoopy? I found Boo Blasters to actually be pretty good, and it seemed like a full building queue was about 15 minutes (even though it said 45 on the sign...)
