dubaidave
Ok, Heres the deal. I went on a solo trip to Japan in April. I shot over 18 hours of video. I have almost finished grabbing stills from the tape so I though people might like to see them. I went to Universal japan Fuji Q Toshimaen Tobu Zoo Disney Tokyo Dome Asakusa Yomiuriland I also did Yokohama but both parks were closed, still got photos though. Because I have so many pics, I thought it would be great to ask the forum members what they would like to see first. Any specific questions I can answer I will. I, for the most part, followed the planning guide on this site. Here are a few to wet your apitite. Hattuchili
hmm, good question. I think first i want to see Disney or Universal and then all the remainder. --Sören
dubaidave
Ok. I will start with universal first. Here we go I will try not to repeat too much of what Rob and Elissa have already said. It`s interesting that the performers don`t look Japanese but they do Mime to a Japanese soundtrack waterworld is similar to the film I`ve seen of the US version. The ride is slightly better than Iremember the one in Florida Jaws was not running single line today. so the wait was around 50 mins. The wild west section is fairly new and Only houses a wild west stund show. Universal japan is somewhat similar to its US cousins
dubaidave
Its quite strange how the pak is a cross between USF and IOA. The biggest tip here is use the single rider lines. Most of the large attractions have them but no one knows about them. Spiderman had a 70 min posted wait bu the single line was a walk on. I did it 6 times in one hour!. Tomorrow. disney its kind of wierd to have Jurassic Park next to..... Here you can see that their main street is covered. ET had exactly the same thing. This was the standard que at Jurassic Park, But I walked straight on because I asked for the single rier line. .....Than Others. Some audience members were more enthusiastic.... They still put on a good show, though. Luckily I wasnt the only person in the park who did`nt speak any Japanese. These guys knew Arigato and that was it. Use the singles line. Backdraft. dubaidave
ok, Disney coming an abou 1 hour. As for Hanayashiki, it was a very interesting park. I did feel somewhat of a pervert walking around on my own with my camera. But it is amazing to see how many rides they have packed in there. I would say you should see it if you can get there.
