Montuman99
Ok, I have made many coasters, so I will post more later, but here are some of my awesome coasters. Or at least I call them awesome! I will also try to make real roller coasters in the game! Just give me a name and I will look it up and try to make it! This is the American Dream, it's not that great, but it's cool. The First Drop The Cobra Roll The Darkness of Doom! The DOD's Cobra Roll This is my favorite, El Gigante! The First Drop of El Gigante 2 EXTREME AIRTIME HILLS! The Big turn around Going through the track! The Finale! jjune4991
um...just a little unrealistic. But I like the attempt at making these things crazy big and scary looking. If you want comments on how to make these more realistic, then ask, or some people will tear you up in saying that these are not good
the ghost
^ true. Not to do what he said, but a launch that abrupt into a hill that steep will cause fatal G force.
netdvn
Juged solely based on looks and leaving out the realism vs. fantasy, I'm not exactly sure about the first or third coaster. The structures seem too large and the layouts seem kinda hard to follow. While a twister layout is perfectly fine, twister coasters are usually smaller in size and more compact. Â The launch coaster is probably the best of the three because the layout looks simple; however, you should lengthen the launch track. Â Overall, fix some of your layouts (namely in the size) as well as remove that sharp turn directly after the first drop on the steel coaster going into the loop. themeparkologist
Maybe you should put RCT2 into the title. I came here looking for something else. But while I'm here I have but one more thing to say: Â Only post pictures if you think that people will enjoy them. That last picture show no talent or skill of anything. Just random stuff that looks like PAX's design team threw up all their useless designs. onto a chunk of land. And...It's a bit off topic from what else you've been posting. Â Sorry, just my personal opinion. EDIT: I don't really know what the design limitations are for RCT2, but I've seen great things from it.
Chris Benvenuto
Maybe you should put RCT2 into the title. I came here looking for something else. Â I find that VERY hard to believe, you knew what you were clicking on. You knew exactly, everything else is properly titled. Poor excuse. Â As for the coasters, it's classifies as RCT2 even if it isn't impressive to most of us. But, I do also encourage the fact that when you have something good to show us. Do show it. Â Â Not a random collab of rides that look like they've came with the game. Sorry if this sounds harsh. But, it's the truth and also my opinion to be honest. braztaz
I think there should just be one thread, where we ALL post random rides we want to share, without having to show an entire park, or creating an entirely new topic. Kinda like the help threads with all the questions grouped together, but with custom-made roller coasters. What do you guys think?
AJClarke0912
http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=47259 Â The "Preview" Thread is pretty much for that already. Just sayin'.
themeparkologist
Sorry chris_____, I honestly cannot remember the titles of threads. I had no clue it was this. But I think the line that Robb posted that makes you put 'NL' and 'RCT1/2/3' before the name of the park/coaster applies here. Â Yet I can recall Beethven's entire Sonate Opus 2 No.1 from memory...I am totaly weird.

If you've got something to show and the ride is good it can have its own topic. There have been parks here, specifically Nins(I believe) B&M hyper coaster that is soely a coaster, yet has received a lot of support here, even tough it is still unfinished. There are times when you can play for fun and not post, like when I try to play campaigns my parks generally suck, but I dont post them here. Not saying this sucks, but just saying not everything's worth posting.

Stoksy
To be totally honest, I really like the concept of building totally "wacked-out" rides, but I think it would be nice to see these rides in a block of land with some theming around it. I think that some colour, trees, and buildings would make all the difference to what you are showing here. At the moment it looks a little rushed (not that that is a bad thing, I used to do this sort of stuff all the time), and I feel that maybe if you put just a little more time into one or two of your coaster, like an hour here and there, these would be a)getting a lot more positive feedback and b)looking a lot more exciting than what they look so far. Â Good luck with these coasters, and don't take my comment the wrong way, it is just a suggestion.
netdvn
- Mega-Lite: Looks like you're getting the hang of building more compact twister layouts. The ride looks great! Keep practicing and your coasters will get better. - Panther: Looks pretty good... Still a little too big for my tastes, but overall, it's a major improvement over your first woodie design. - B&M launch: My personal favorite... Layout is simple, yet looks really fun. Probably your best design IMO. It seems that you do better simple layouts than very complex layouts. Keep that up... - Hyper: I feel you should either make it solely out-and-back or solely twister. It would look better that way, but then again, that's just me. Â And I'm gonna second Stosky on trying to put some theming elements around the rides to make them look better and to enhance the layouts a little more. Just seeing them in ride editor or plopped down on top of each other in a park doesn't really bring out the ride as much as adding some theming (maybe a couple buildings here and there and a few trees to enhance the layout). Montuman99
I will make some themeing for my next coasters, hopefully it will turn out well! Thanks for the ideas!
Montuman99
Bombata did have a pirate them and right after the Roll-Over it went underground. There were Pirate ships and cannons. I'm working in Egyptian themes for rides and a mechanical themeing too.
Montuman99
Ok, these are some pretty bad coasters and themeing, but whatever. Montuman99
More coasters.... This is Abomination The drop The graveyard after some drops The ending Escape the Tomb The launch with themeing The finale This is Pterodactyl Flight
the ghost
Not to sound mean, but you REALLY need to practice. The in game scenery is fine if you take time to make building and stuff, but individual pieces like the cars is not theming, its just there. Secondly, your coasters are all lethal. Make break runs that are much longer. NEVER launch your coaster into such a steeply angled slope, that will produce A lot more Gforce than the game is displaying, like if I were to build these on NL they would be filled with red gs. The flyer is the best I have seen you do, however, because the layout is semi plausible, but everything else is VERY unrealistic. Â Also, as a word of advice try to avoid coasters like the S&S air powered coaster and reverse tower coasters(like superman the escape) because it is impossible to come up with an original layout. Keep it up, but remember, practice makes perfect.
Montuman99
I know I am being very lazy with the themeing. I just don't have the patience to do the massive awesome scenery. But I will make the coasters more realistic.
Montuman99
Ok, I KNOW I STINK AT THEMEING!! But this is what I did in 20 minutes. This is the brand new Valkyrie GCI trained woodie! The first drop Battle with the Cyclops The Palace Battles with the Zeus, Minotaur and Medusa A BATTLE WITH HADES FINALE!! A B&M hyper, Fight of the Cerberus the big pre-drop LOTS OF AIRTIME AND TWISTY!!! The end of the ride.
netdvn
GCI - Fix the first drop... It doesn't feel right, especially for a GCI Â B&M - Looks pretty good actually. Gives off a traveling coaster feel, which isn't bad. Try not to place turns directly after large drops unless the turns are on a hill or they're a bit larger and more drawn out. The turns after the first drop on are bound to cause some pain. Â What you need to work on - Extend your final brake runs so that they're longer than two squares across. And keep working on the theming. Instead of focusing on the theming around the ride, put a bit of emphasis on building station buildings. Look at real coasters for inspiration. Â From looks alone, you've improved greatly from your first screenshots. Keep up the good work.
Montuman99
Alright, I have made my best GCI coaster! The drop is not painful and there is station themeing!!! This GCI is called Dungeon Dash!! Hey look, a non-painful drop!!! I like the turns at the top of the screen. Station themeing
