Photo TR: Troy in HDR

Recommended Posts

Last week I was in Toverland, showing Looty around the place and while I was there, I figured I'd test some technique I read about.

The principle HDR photography is pretty simple, you take 3 pictures with different exposures and combine them. I'm pretty sure wikipedia has more info on this if you're interested.

Now I am no experienced photographer, nor do I have a DSLR (just a compact) and this was my first experience with HDR. So don't expect any masterpieces, but if you have any comments or tips, they are most welcomed.

I love HDR.....the only thing I might have done different is change the color temp. a little bit to warm them up from the grayness they are. But have fun with HDR, there is so many different settings you can do with HDR. What program do you use to do the HDR? I use Photomatix Pro 3, and it is awesome.

Hey Bas!

The pictures turned out great!...sorry about my sleeve in the last one

I especially like the photo with the ghostly-looking people walking in front. Thanks again for being an awesome Toverland ride buddy!

Thank you guys for all the comments, whenever I go to a park again, I hope I can bring back some neat HDR pictures.

Oh, by the way, here's a link to 5 images I used to compose one HDR image:
