emberfoot4565
I started my first full-fledged custom Six Flags park named Six Flags Connecticut. I wanted some comments on how you think it's coming along. Ive finished the first section at the end of the park, Gotham City. I hope it's okay since, I've only been to one Six Flags Park once. This area is still under construction in some parts. Comment's and criticism greatly appreciated. By the way, the pictures are exactly 800-600, so it just fits the size requirements. Overview with Gotham City in far left. Gotham City Crime Wave, a classic swinger. Riddler's Revertigo, a top spin. Gotham City Park. I'm probably going to trash this in the future. Gotham City Mall. I tried not to make the scenery boring and repetitive so I used some custom scenery. The mall houses a diner, t-shirt shop, and guest amenities. (Sorry the flowers are dead.) Backside view of Mall. There is the train station and the haunted mansion ride station that goes throughout the building. Classic Batman: The Ride (I just noticed I got the corkscrews mixed up. dmaxsba2408
That is one big map you got there, hope you make it through it. Â I think Gotham park should stay and even be expanded one more tile over on each side leaving a single wide path at the edges and more random entrance's to the park on each side. If you want to make it more interactive put a spiral slide somewhere in the park or food/bathroom hidden in the trees. Batman looks good, and I would not worry about the backwards part. Just about every park has one and there are a few parks that have a version that is not quite like the others. Your park could just be one of the lucky parks with a clone that is not quite exactly like the others. Â Great choice for names of your flats so far. Â I really have nothing to complain about, sorry. I take that back, way to much grey and black going on.
emberfoot4565
I know that I only have one comment (thank you dmaxsba), but I would really like some more. I am going to post some more pictures anyway. Originally going to be Thrill Zone, Pirate Thrills is an area that would probably not be featured in a Six Flags park. Please, comments and criticism greatly appreciated. I redid the park. I think it looks better. I fixed the colors on the Gotham Mall as best I could and added Jokers Circus. Better? Overview of Pirate Thrills. dmaxsba2408
I think a mix of a Roto Drop and 2 Launched Free Falls would look better, you would have the Roto being the free fall and the other 2 launch upwards or just 3 Launched Free Falls 2 down one up or the other way around. The reason I bring this up is I doubt very much any park would build 3 Roto Drops but many have Power Tower like complexes. Â The dark ride looks much better now with the touch of color you added and addition of the circus. The park went the other way for me, just seems too open and inviting to be a Gotham City park. When I think of a park in the city of Gotham I think of overgrown and dangerous. The kind of place you wouldn't be caught dead in at night because if you were in it at night you would be, dead that is.
the ghost
I really like the Gotham area(^thats good advice though) but am not a fan of the pirate area. First of all Boomerangs station is rather blocky and green, nothing that at all sticks out. You're next issue is the station of your twist, in my opinion you should add some cover for the entire station. I also cant think of a real park ever naming a section Pirate Thrills, come up with something a little more cliche but less boring, such as Pirate Cove or something along those lines, and the name is not unrealistic because you have the beach. These, however are mild mistakes, and if you are at all new to the game(I dont know as your new here) this is fantastic, if youve been playing for a while your still pretty good, just be a bit more creative and nothing can stop you. I couldn't think of anything better than Pirate Thrills. I don't think any six flags park would have any pirate themed area unless its a water park. I may or may not change the area to a modern area called Thrill Zone. If I do, I'll keep all the rides but expand out either onto the water or add more land where the water is. As for the stations, I'll do the best I can with them.------I have had this game for six or seven years, but never really went into theming that much until now.  I think a mix of a Roto Drop and 2 Launched Free Falls would look better, you would have the Roto being the free fall and the other 2 launch upwards or just 3 Launched Free Falls 2 down one up or the other way around. As for the power towers, I'm on the side of redoing the entire area into Thrill Zone and adding them in. Before, when I was trying to build Thrill Zone, the towers just didn't look right no matter what I did. But If I expand the land, then I'll make them look nice. emberfoot4565
I decided I'm going to update this once a week , but not drop the topic at all like so many other virtual parks have. I'm going to start a side park in rct3 called Niagra Falls Amusement Park.
mcjaco
Two things: Â 1) You can edit your post, so there's no need to double post. OR if your post is the last one in a thread you can delete it. Once someone responds the delete option goes away. Â And 2) Â I'm going to start a side park in rct3 called Niagra Falls Amusement Park. Â This is typically the kiss of death. Stick to one project at a time. Keeping updates to once a week is good, but starting multiple projects and keeping threads up to date, is next to impossible. emberfoot4565
Thanks mjaco. I tried to make my rct3 park but every time I got the game on, it crashed, so I'm just going to stick with this. Please comment everyone!
emberfoot4565
Sorry that I haven't done anything with this in a bout a month. I've really gotten into rct3 because we got a new computer that runs it really fast and well. Usually, I'll play either rct2 or rct3 for a while then come to hate it for some reason, then I'll go to the other one (either rct2 or rct3) and really get into it. I'm probably going to post a new rct3 park on here that is going to be as realistic as I can make it. I know that this isn't a good system but its going to be: I'll update one for a month or until I can't play it enjoyably anymore, then I'll go to the other one and do the same thing. But I wont drop this one. Maybe my rct3 because its so much harder to do all the scenery and make it look real. Â Thanks everyone for you comments. Please comment and criticize anyway. dmaxsba2408
Good luck with both parks, Think maybe you could make an RCT3 version of this RCT2 park making them as close to each other as possible. Would love to see the comparison of the two. Either way, look forward when this one starts up again.
emberfoot4565
A small update. What do you think? Another attempt at the Gotham City Park. A Teaser that is a big giveaway but.... It's the best that I could do.
dmaxsba2408
Now that's a Gotham City Park I wouldn't mind being assaulted in.
emberfoot4565
Thanks! What do you think of the towers? I think I made the right decision with going with my Thrill Zone are instead of Pirates. emberfoot4565
Technically, it's still Friday so... Thrill Zone is the newest section so far. Theres going to be a restaurant and a few more buildings, but I can only make those when I build the main street. Â Comments Greatly Appreciated! Overview of are. (unfinished) New colors, station, and queue. I don't know what to call it. Any suggestions? Enterprise Twister and Buccaneer Power Towers Finally, Go Karts with a western theme. KingB24
Hey, this park is great, and I know a lot of people say this, but it's way better than anything I can do. But I do have some suggestions... Â 1.) You should name the Boomerang something Six Flags would name it... like "Mind Eraser", "Sidewinder", "Head Spin", or even just "Boomerang". Â 2.) Put some fences around the Enterprise ride please. It just looks pretty bad without it. Â 3.) Try and add some scenery to keep the paths from being so wide. If you're going to let peeps into the park, they're going to get lost so easily.
emberfoot4565
Update Today. I have a new section and a few more things. Â Comments and Criticism greatly appreciated. Is this any better? (The path and trees thing) Fence. (There will (probably) be a wall where the fences are open.) Side path with some shops, Subway, The Book Shoppe, and The Flower Cafe.(Kinda bad names but...) Shops in kid section, Orange Inc., Hat Shack The Green Popcorn Shop, Susie's Sweets, and The Lounge Ferris Wheel and Bumper Cars Turtle Racer (I don't know about the name...) Carousel (There will be roof) and Turtle's Ice-cream. Coaster in midway. ( I need a name) Overview of whole park so far.
jps294
The coaster could be called FlashBack.
KingB24
Nicee!!! I'm definitely with some trees and stuff in the middle of the paths, not to mention the fences around the Enterprise. Â Also, the shuttle loop looks GREAT and I LOOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEE the turtle theme!!!!!
Fat-G
Just a detail thought, to make the shuttle loop more realistic legnthen the launch track a little longer.
Stoksy
If you've got 8cars, use zero clearance and have the supports under the lift hill of the "flashback coaster" so the supports are actually supporting the ride, not just floating there. Looks good so far, but you should really get some custom supports and use them instead of the generic one. It'll just look more realistic from my personal opinion. Â Despite that, it looks really good so far.
dmaxsba2408
I agree with the comments that have been made. The only thing I can think of is if you make the shuttle loop longer put in an on ride photo before the loop the capture the g-forced faces of the guests. Â Really liked the park overview picture. Can really tell the difference in areas with that shot. The park is so colorful, then you have the dark hole that is Gotham. Well done!
