When your home park is Kings Dominion, anything is possible... besides thankfulness.

My home park is SFA, and nobody I personally know cares about what we get and when. Take one look at KD and it's a whole different story! I really want to get another season pass for KD, but I think it's all Knoebels and Hershey next year for me! While on the topic, just remember KD fans, our coaster droughts aren't as bad as Knoebels'!

Smart decision on your part.. especially the Knoebels part.

Last time I went to Knoebels, I had no idea what flying turns was and I thought it was an abandoned woodie I'm really excited to go back for the first time in several years. Along with Hershey and Knoebels, I may have Dorney in there too. I've surprisingly never been to Dorney despite it's somewhat close proximity to me, so i'm excited for that too!

So after riding Manta at Seaworld San Diego yesterday, I would love to see a Mack launching coaster for KD some day. Probably not going to happen, but just my 2 cents.

This coaster is incredibly underrated and definitely top-20 for me. During my San Diego/KBF trip 2 years ago, this is a close third behind Xcelerator (possibly the smoothest coaster ever IMO) and Silver Bullet (B&M inverts are hit and miss for me but this one was a HIT). But two family launcheds in one park? Unlikely.

 

 

 

 

(Still keeping my fingers crossed for RMC Hurler 2017...)

Nothing is ever going to beat Intimidator 305. Not even a stratacoaster. Arguably not even Fury 325.

Imo, there are far more superior rides. It may have just been my visit, but i305 wasn't too enjoyable compared to other coasters I've ridden. Yeah, it's the 2nd most intense ride I've ridden, but the restraints just kill the ride.

 

A coaster type I would LOVE to see at this park is a wing coaster! Gatekeeper, and Wild Eagle are great rides. I've also heard Thunderbird was great as well! I think it would be a nice and thrilling ride, but not as intense as most rides at the park. (I305, Volcano, Dominator, etc.)

I thought Fury was considerably more enjoyable than i305, but I guess to each his own.

I was thinking of something more along the lines of Blue Fire or Helix than Manta.

It's very sarcastic. This thread has been littered with posts of almost comparable nature, but in a serious manner. He's reiterating how ridiculous the tone of the posts about this park has been.
