braztaz
^ So I take it your living a little risky? I like small boys in tights. Good luck, though! And other than the website, I don't know. Why is it that whenever I put X D it comes out as XD ?
cfc
^You answered your own question. Don't use that combination of letters again. Just like Shakespearean actors never mention the name of the "Scottish play"--it's bad luck!

KDCOASTERFAN
Josh you could try looking at local Giant food stores in the area for discount gift cards that are good for admission...I used to get them back in the days before I purchased my KD season passes. eddie200330
Here is a link to a website that might provide you some help. Usually I just search the "park name" followed by "coupons/codes" and check around the first few options that come up on google. It mostly provides the locations you can pick up the tickets or the coopuns for the discounts at the park. http://www.mahalo.com/kings-dominion-coupons

Sadly I had to pay the full $56.99, but the weather was great and I finally got my I305 credit.

braztaz
Just got back from ma great day at Kings Dominion. I'm proud to say that REBEL YELL RAN BOTH SIDES today, i dunno if that's happened in a while or what, but in mid-day it was running both sides, then later it only ran the red side. Dominator was rougher than usual, as well. Also, Grizzly was a death-machine for me...just never liked that ride. Too rough.

I've noticed the "rattle" on Dominator big time on the last trip & while not a headbanger it's definitely starting to loose that B&M smoothness that it has had in the past. Skycoastin Steve
Back row on Dominator is some of the worst rattling I've had on a B&M, but I still like it enough to ride it a few times every time I visit. I really think my threshold for roughness on a wooden coaster differs greatly from many people on this site, as I think Grizzly isn't that bad at all. Then again, I'm a pro at defensive riding and I avoid wheel seats like the plague, so I'm not experiencing the worst that roughness has to offer on many of these rides. KDcoasterMAN
Grizzly is an acquired taste... You must also know that the coaster is not worth riding when the orange train is on the circuit. Yellow train has been giving its best rides in YEARS! Rebel Yell has not been running well in the heat I might add. Been rearranging my back allot. I will admit Dominator has been suffering some B&M Rattle. More than it has in the past. I have to brace my self in the Interlocking corkscrews. Skycoastin Steve
^Rode a couple times in the magical PTC seat (front row, back car) on the yellow train last time I was at KD and LOVED it. You really can't go wrong on a woodie when you sit in that seat.
Intimidator305
I rode it (Dominator) recently in the back row far corner and had TONS of rattling, but the further you go forward in the train, less and less rattling occurs. But I really do not mind it, it really isn't noticable besides towards the far back at the moment. Plus, some may call me crazy, but I would much rather have Dominator than Griffon anyday... braztaz
We rode Grizzly in the back row. I almost hit my hand on the tunnel, and I know headchoppers are supposed to give you that feeling, but I actually had the sense of danger, and I've heard of a few people who have whacked their hands on it. Oh, and I just realized that the back row is much better than the front row in many roller coasters. Intimidator definitely, Rebel Yell, Dominator...just to name a few.It gives really nice airtime. Yes, I have suffered a smack to the tunnel on Grizzly. It really freaking hurts. I figured that since it was a tunnel it'd have adequate clearance so I kept my hands up and ended up smacking the top of the it on the airtime hill in the tunnel. Also I used to love Dominator, but it's really nothing spectacular. There's a bad weld in the loop and the train jerks violently when you hit it, which really is no fun at all. I don't get how B&M did Interlocking Corkscrews on Kumba 7 years before Dominator and somehow Kumba's are so much better. As a matter of fact, I much prefer Arrow's Corkscrews over B&M's. MoonCadet
Heading out to this park today wish me luck... its been almost 12 years since I've been there(I was last there for the opening of Volcano). BTW in terms of discounts I favor http://www.jdrfcapitol.org/2010/06/purchase-your-jdrf-fun-days-discount-tickets-to-kings-dominion-now/. Its only good for certain days but its a good discount for a good cause.
espm1000
Hailing from Virginia Beach I usually make it a point to go to Busch Gardens every season because it is a mere 45 minutes away, but after countless rides on the various coasters and the dismantling of the big bad wolf I'm interested in something new, so in August I am scheduled to spend my first couple of days at KD. I'm hoping that I won't be disappointed because I'm interested in the coasters and thrill rides. I wouldn't say that I'm a BG fan boy, but I will say it is the only amusement park I've ever been to. I think I can attest to that as I had an extremely rough ride(ranking up there with hurler rough) riding in orange train car 2,row 1 last weekend....I so wanted a spot near the front on yellow train but alas that wasn't to be what with the way the lines were at the time.
