What a massive oversight on Intamin's part...how does something like that get through to construction without an engineer thinking "you know, maybe we should stick an extra support or two there"? You'd think they would learn their lesson after all the issues they've had in the past with under-supported rides (Xcelerator and Wicked Twister come to mind).

^What I was told was Adena sorta screwed up the alignment. So it could once again be joint responsibility between the engineers and the people building it. I honestly wasn't told a whole bunch about it, but that was the general idea of what I was told.

Man oh man, those trim brackets go all the way down the entire drop. That should slow things down a pretty good bit.

No one can confirm nor deny the addition of trims yet. They have not been added yet, if at all. The only thing that is confirmed at the moment is the existence of new hardware on the drop, currently it is not affecting the ride's performance.

I could live with trims before the twisty elements as those were insanely intense, but I fear for the best or second best first drop I've been on...

Safe to say KD will get a new coaster this weekend

 

The only good thing that could come out of this is they remove the trims from the 75ft hill.

 

I wonder if there is gonna be a sale on all the merch. that says 90+ mph

I know that one of the trains I believe Silverback has been having issues disengaging the lift recently. So perhaps they are looking at that?

How do you figure? Intamin fabricated and Adena constructed the ride about 2 months ago now. I really don't see how any issues the ride is already having is the fault of anyone else.

People can freak out over nothing. That picture with the crane could have been taken anytime between January and March. When someone actually rides it and it slows down on the drop, then I will believe it. And even with that I will probably have to ride it my self.

I want to say, we should of known something like this was going to happen.

I mean I've seen tons of people on here talking about black/greying out. I can only imagine the reactions of the GP after experiencing a blackout.
