DerekRx
Looks awesome, even though I wasn't there nor needed. Can't wait to drink it up this weekend! But I'll happily drink it and then hopefully have room and time for another! This may be the last good beer I have all week
memphish
They closed campus b/c of tornados in the area So instead of coming home and continue to work I called it a wrap on the day. DerekRx
Today we went to Busch Gardens. So of course, we had to drink Sam Adams when we found out a local restaurant carried it! OK, I did end up getting good beer this weekend! Sam Adams was a patriot, I guess that's why he was allowed to be in Williamsburg
Bush985
Pay Day.. Whats that mean, well I haven't just relaxed for a while. So I bought some good food, and headed home for a beer. Gordon Hefewiezen. Pretty good. But mainly nice to relax and have a beer. -RD
DerekRx
OK, I lied. I did bring some beer with me for the weekend, just in case. So when I was hanging out with some friends from college, I let them see what beers the North could muster up. And I couldn't wear the HopDevil shirt without drinking a HopDevil that evening Erin stuck with water Brian tried the Alpha King, but he wasn't experienced enough to enjoy the hops
DerekRx
Had several free AB beers today, such as Bud Light, Budweiser, Budweiser Select, Amber Bock, and Bare Knuckle Stout. Then I had another Sam Adams Looks like the Brewmaster's Club has converted Adam. Here he actually ordered an Amber Bock instead of a Sam Adams! I'm still surprised they sell this stuff here, AND that it was still in date! Another fine choice! The Beer and Coaster Team says "Hi Wally, thanks for the beer!" DerekRx
When Heath and Kim were done at Busch, and I was done at Kings Dominion, we met up to caravan to Old Dominion. Its definitely the best "Dominion" in Virginia! And Heath had the Victory Amber Lager, which is not brewed by Victory, its brewed by Old Dominion. So I guess it should be called Old Dominion Amber Lager to keep the confusion level down With dinner I tried the New River Pale Ale. Very aromatic hoppy, but not tasting very hoppy For dinner I had Elissa friendly Tomato and Mozzarella salad And Heath had the Dominion Lager to start because they were out of the Aviation Lager I started out with the Tupper's Hop Pocket Ale But they've got plenty of their brews on tap This is the most plain exterior to a brew pub ever
DerekRx
Tonight I decided to start trying some of the Old Dominion beers I picked up this weekend. First off, the Spring Brew. Very nice bouquet, a nice mix of ale and lager. Easy to drink and very refreshing. Not bad at all, very much a Springtime refreshment. Spring is in the air, and its also in my beer
Rugged One
Heh Wally, what's up with the mohawk? Is that your new Curveball Cut? Went with one of new Old Dominion brews that Derek and I picked up on Sunday. The Oak Barrel Stout. Wasn't too bad. Definitley had an oaky taste to it along with coffee but also had some vanilla that helped smooth it out. Not very complex but definitely goes down easy. Old Dominion Oak Barrel Stout. Definitley O.K. or should I say "Oaky" in my book.

DerekRx
Had another Old Dominion brew tonight while enjoying the warm weather and getting prepped for a trip, this time the Tupper's Hop Pocket Pils. ...Why the pubs of London, of course! ...While I do some reading up on London for the TPR UK trip. What exactly am I reading about?... I may as well enjoy this one outside on the patio... "Would you like a Hop Pocket?"

DerekRx
^I'm looking into it, though I'm not sure if I want too many Americans interfering with my English pub experience. After all that reading on England, tonight I was feeling in a European state of mind, so it was the perfect time to break out the Heavyweight Lunacy Belgian style! Very good stuff, not too Belgian, but not just meh either "I'm a Belgian Style Golden Ale, gimme some candy and put me in a goblet!"
Rugged One
^Just getting ready for baseball season Heath. We'll have to start calling you "Wild Thing" Wally. Tried something new from Magic Hat. The HI.P.A. IPA. Man was this one disappointing. I should have known by the overly fizzy head that this one was going to be more about the fruity flavors and less about the hops. Very, very weak hop bite. Magic Hat has really been letting me down lately. Oh yeeaaahhh! This one gets the Heath Face seal of approval. After that complete disappointment, I needed to get myself a real IPA. Thunderhead did just the trick. The Magic Hat HI.P.A. No hops allowed. Rugged One
Went into my local place the other day to try and see if the Pyramid Curveball was out yet. It wasn't but I did run into a couple of new to me Sierra Nevada brews. The Summerfest and the Unfiltered Wheat. Decided to wait on the Summerfest until it gets a little closer to summer, probably like next week , but did go for the Wheat. And I must say I'm really digging it. Nothing too fancy for a wheat, just a clean taste of wheat and lemons and quite refreshing. Especially since it's getting close to 80 degrees today! The Sierra Nevada Unfiltered Wheat. Great beer for a warm day.
DerekRx
Today I was finally free to get my Dorney pass processed, and since I was in the neighborhood, thought I'd stop by Bethlehem Brew Works for some vittles. And since it was close to 80 degrees outside, this lactose intollerant dude decided to include some Heavenly Hedgehog Ice Cream for dessert. Yellow Cake Batter, yum! Bethlehem Brew Works is always worth the 15-20 minute drive from Dorney I liked it MUCH better than the Anchor Steam And Beau (originally from Pyramid)came thru with this West Coast inspired Steamed brew, the Gold Rush Lager With my bratwurst I needed a good lager Very tart with cranberry aroma and flavor, and HIGHLY alcoholic at 8% First up was the newly released Imperial Cranberry Lambic, just tapped yesterday And this is the end result of the afternoon, now lets go drink! Laser, you're close to 21, plus you have 2 vertical loops, so I'll give you my backwash, if there is any Steel Force says "dude, can you get me a beer?" "No dude, you're not 21 yet, sorry." Here's the wave pool that's taking up the season pass entrance and parking lot Apparently season pass parking has been moved INSIDE the park for this year! Here's Talon, no one is experiencing the awesomeness of the Vertical loop yet Here's Dorney, its closed
