XII
For the second year in a row, I decided to go and ring in the new year Six Flags Style. But I know that it's the pictures that everyone cares about, so I'll just get on with those. Oh, and here's the video TR that my friend Cody (24) did from that day. [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=TPR_7ra4[/coastertube] Anyways, SFMM put on a FANTASTIC Fireworks Show and had a FANTASTIC EVENT!!! We WILL be back and wish you all a happy 2010!!! 2010 may be great now, but just wait for January 4th when Vacation is over and we're all back to our boring misreble schedules. Then tell me how 2010 is. Unlike last year, SFMM actually put on a fireworks show!!! Oh yeah. It's 2010 now!!!! Hey Headcheez!! Where were you? Mr. Six was looking foreward to dancing with you again!!! It won't be 2009 for long. "You got a problem with my new paint job punk?" Meanwhile at the party, people are still listening to various popular songs On Cold Nights like this, instead of fire, they should spray Liquid Nitrogen in your face instead. Time for our last coaster of 2009. Canyon Blaster at night There were some stupid people who rode Log Jammer at night. Like these two who rode it TWICE in a row. I don't get why they don't just write 79 people Terminator at night. Tatsu at night It doesn't matter who wins because a failure beating another failure is not an accomplishment. Time for us to make total fools of ourselves Night falls and the party begins. Riddlers Revenge X2 was badass, as usual. "Why did I ride this again!!?" "Hey!!! I'm not supposed to get wet on the water ride!!!!" Despite it being New Years Eve and not hot at all, some people were stupid enough to ride Log Jammer. And that means we just HAD to soak them. Blue Batman from Scream's line. Hey look! They gave Scream a brand new sign!!! Shiny Goliath Batman in all its blue glory I'm Blue! Da Ba Dee Da Ba Da!!! Hey Batman!!! Why are you blue?? Believe it or not, there used to be fountains right here. I don't ever recall seeing any fountains at SFMM. (Aside from the ones at the entrance.) I see you old X Sign. Wow. I don't think very many people remember the time when Goliath was sponsored by Driving Force. In other news, the food at SFMM's new BBQ Place is really good and definitely the best food in the park. TROLL!!! Here's an interesting fact. Goldrusher used to be red. (A really ugly shade of red.) All right. Next up was Goldrusher. Proof that Psyclone once did exist at this part. Aww. I was hoping they would be having free samples of Cranberry Nut Fudge instead of just the regular fudge. Cranberry Nut Fudge looks very interesting. "OH SH*T!!!!!" Up next would indeed be DejaVu. There was really alot of airtime on the ride today! Terminator was running REALLY FREAKING GREAT TODAY!! Here is a construction photo of SFMM's New 2010 coaster!! We ended up marathoning Superman in honor of our long gone friend, Superman. Hmm. I guess without Superman on the tower, people just don't want to ride it anymore. Oh yeah. Superman is now gone. Hmm. Something's missing here. "HOLY CRAP!!!! BATMAN IS BLUE!!!!!!!!" We are totally ready for Ninja. Oh, and this nice ride op took this pic of us. Thanks Dude. You're awesome. Our first coaster of the day was in fact, Ninja. We'll get to all the music, dancing, and 2010 celebrating later. For now, it's all about rollercoaster riding. In other news, they painted this building and it totally looks awesome! Ok, so today, we were at SFMM's Rock'N'Ride New Years Eve Party to celebrate New Years Eve and go into 2010 in style. ebl
A few notes about your TR (I was also there from 6pm till closing): About the coins in the fountain sign, there was indeed a fountain at that spot once. In fact, it was once the site of Dancing Waters. I don't remember how long it's been gone, though. When I was at SFMM a couple of weeks ago, I did try a sample of the cranberry fudge. It wasn't great, but not too bad either. I heard the DJ say something about having a great 2009, and I thought "Isn't this 2010?" You guys did a nice job on the video. Not bad for a couple of guys from Ventura County! Eric "also from Ventura County" L.
Coaster Cow
Very nice report! I haven't had a chance to look at the video, but it looks great. By the way, that Deja Vu picture looking straight up the tower made me laugh out loud.

24
We had a incredibly awesome day! I can't wait for Batman and Goliath to open. Yeah, I know the video is long but it covers almost everything that happened on video. I will most likely be there next year.
ebl
^ Your video was NOT too long considering all that you covered. Being fellow Ventura County residents, we'll have to meet up sometime. Eric
