Still have yet to ride X2 Most memorable park moment- Running in circles at IOA for 4 hours by myself riding and re-riding The Hulk, Jurassic Park, Duelling Dragons, Superman, and The Doctor Dooms Freefall ride. Most memorable coaster moment- 3 hour wait for my 1st time on X. My heart was beating so quick while waiting. Least favorite coaster- As far as new ones go.... Cobra at SFDK. Least favorite ride- Tough Choice...... I rode it before in 1999 before that accident, and feared riding it again until 2007 (Long gap in not visiting GA), the same season someone had their feet severed on another drop tower. And also Wipeout at Santa Cruz...indoor flat rides with intense light shows and techno music are a must for any park. - Favorite new park: Haven't traveled anywhere, maybe SFMM when I went in 2001. - Most memorable park moment: Probably either Haunt seasons at Great America. - Most memorable coaster moment: Downpour at Discovery Kingdom (Marine World), and having a Roar marathon in heavy rains. - Best ERT session: Made my own ERT at the end of the day (so technically isn't ERT) riging Flight Deck probably a good 5 or 6 times. - Least favorite coaster: Superman: The Escape - Least favorite ride: Not sure - Least favorite park: Not sure either. - Most interesting ride you've seen introduced: Probably V2 at Discovery Kingdom, both iterations of it. - Least interesting ride you've seen intoduced: Not quite sure - Your favorite TPR moment (favorite post, trip report, video, whatever!): Does the forum opening day count? I found out about TPR's forums on my birthday (day after forums opened) so that was a nice little surprise for me. - The decade's biggest flop: Losing a completely unique coaster that I had never gotten a chance to ride - Stealth...and let's not forget Zonga which was a great ride with a short life in the bay area. - The decade's biggest success: Adding a water park at GA was a nice feature especially for those hot summer days in the valley. - The best meal you've had at a park: I usually eat off site so I couldn't really tell. Maybe the giant corn dogs at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. - The worst meal you've had at a park: Again, I usually eat off site so can't really tell. - Best park turnaround: CGA after Cedar Fair take-over and adding the Haunt events. - Worst park turnaround: CGA in the late Paramount days, as rides (originals/classics) were being ripped out without replacement, loss of the whole 'American atmosphere,' increase in prices (though WOW cards were a great deal) and lack of any real special events (Halloween). For one that I've actually visited, Busch Gardens Williamsburg. - Most memorable park moment I really don't think I could single out one...there were so many! - Most memorable coaster moment First ride on Maverick - Best ERT session I really haven't experienced much ERT, but the Raptor ERT at Coastermania 2009 was pretty cool - Least favorite coaster Grizzly at KD - Least favorite ride The train ride at Kings Island. If you count attractions as whole, I would easily say Country Bear Jamboree at Magic Kingdom. - Least favorite park Kings Dominion - Most interesting ride you've seen introduced That X-Scream thing on the Stratosphere Tower - Least interesting ride you've seen intoduced Shoot the Rapids. Instead of feeling hype, I'm dreading the loss of more endangered trees on the peninsula. - Your favorite TPR moment (favorite post, trip report, video, whatever!) Some of the 2007 Midwest Trip reports were pretty memorable - The decade's biggest flop Hard Rock Park was probably the biggest failure because of its size and its expectations. Wild West World deserves an honorable mention. - The decade's biggest success Anything Intamin execpt Stratacoasters, Perilous Plunge and ten inversion coasters. - The best meal you've had at a park BBQ at both Busch Gardens parks. If it did, Griffon - Favorite new ride S&S Screamin Swings (specifically, Skyhawk) - Favorite new park Busch Gardens Williamsburg - Most memorable park moment Does a whole day count? 8th grade graduation field trip to Geauga Lake, it was the last time I got to hang out with a lot of good friends cause we all went to separate high schools - Most memorable coaster moment Probably first time I rode TTD...I was in shock - Best ERT session Never had one - Least favorite coaster Viper @ Darien Lake...worst headbanging Ive ever experienced - Least favorite ride Rapids rides...I dont mind getting wet on like log flumes, but I hate getting totally soaked... - Least favorite park IDK...Ive never really been to a park I didn't like, its easier to say a favorite than a least favorite - Most interesting ride you've seen introduced X2 - Least interesting ride you've seen intoduced Hmm...probably floorless coasters - Your favorite TPR moment (favorite post, trip report, video, whatever!) kidcoaster 2 Posted January 1, 2010 Share Posted January 1, 2010 - Favorite new coaster Ravine Flyer 2 ( A decade in the making) - Favorite new ride Happy Frogs at SDC (Long Story) - Favorite new park Mhm not sure I been to any parks that opened this decade but in general its a tie between Knobels and SDC - Most memorable park moment On the Negative -G trip during the last day we made a mad dash from Six Flag New England to the Great Escape and got all the credits in 30 minutes and the park was dead so we were the only ones on the comet for over an hour! - Most memorable coaster moment Being on Tig'rr at Indiana Beach and having the chain literly blow up with us on top of the hill! - Best ERT session So I will add favorite ERT session attending and favorite worked! Attended - A tie between Prowler at World's of Fun during Coaster Con riding it at 1am and Martin's Fantasy Island during ACE Day in New York with (4 Fly throughs!) - Least favorite coaster Predator at Darien Lake Nuff said.. - Least favorite ride Garfield's Nightmare (Please bring back the old mill!) - Least favorite park Really can't say anything bad about any park. But I was dissapointed how SFOG handled Spring Fling with the lack of information - Most interesting ride you've seen introduced Once again has to be Happy Frogs at Silver Dollar City - Least interesting ride you've seen intoduced Mhm.... Can't really judge anything till I actually ride it. - Your favorite TPR moment (favorite post, trip report, video, whatever!)
