- Favorite new coaster - Voyage

- Favorite new ride - MaXair

- Favorite new park - I don't think I visited any parks that opened this decade......

- Most memorable park moment - My first ride on Millennium Force in 2000, one of my few speechless moments in 25 years of life!

- Most memorable coaster moment - My first ride on TTD, which was the first public cycle of the 2007 season, front row, and a rollback. Epic!

- Best ERT session - I had so many great nights during employee ride nights at Cedar Point, the best was probably Magnum in 2007 when they shut the trims off and we had full trains steamrolling through the pretzel. However, NOTHING compares to the Rampage ERT that TPR had this year. Even though I was an employee and only had a few rides that night, I can say that those were some of the craziest rides I've ever had on any coaster.

- Least favorite coaster - TOUGH choice, but it's a tie between Rattler and the Looping Star at Beech Bend.

- Least favorite ride - Any of the rides I may have ridden at a fair in the last 10 years.

- Least favorite park - Another tough choice, but Wild Adventures I thought was pretty crappy. Eight utterly forgettable credits.

- Most interesting ride you've seen introduced - I think the 4th Dimension coaster was a terrific innovation, even if the execution of the ride wasn't the greatest. I think in time, with proper engineering, this could become one of the most exciting ride types in the world.

- Least interesting ride you've seen intoduced - Roller Soakers.

- Your favorite TPR moment (favorite post, trip report, video, whatever!) - Only really had one, the Rampage ERT! Really, the whole day TPR was at AA was a very, very fun day and it was a pleasure to host everyone on the Deep South trip.

- The decade's biggest flop - Either Hard Rock Park or Son of Beast. They're really tied for first with no close 2nd place.

- The decade's biggest success - WOODEN COASTER REVOLUTION!!!!!!

- The best meal you've had at a park - Either the Thanksgiving food at Holiday World or the Backstage Restaurant at Dollywood, both were fantastic.

- The worst meal you've had at a park - Seeing how I rarely actually get food at a park unless I KNOW for a fact that it's good, I don't recall having a bad meal at a park.

- Best park turnaround - As much as it pains me to say, Six Flags parks everywhere are really starting to improve from their dismal state earlier in the decade. And although Holiday World was never really considered "bad," its status as an enthusiast hot spot has skyrocketed this decade.

- Worst park turnaround - Geauga Lake. That was easy.

- What was the biggest trend of this past decade? Coaster wars, the "build at all costs" mentality of virtually every park chain in the country. Closely followed by the WOODEN COASTER REVOLUTION!!!!!

- Favorite new coaster- The Voyage

- Favorite new ride - Zamperla's Energy Storm

- Favorite new park - Although it debuted in 1999, IOA would be my favorite new park. My first trip was in 2000.

- Most memorable park moment- First Phoenix Phall Phunfest 2000.

- Most memorable coaster moment- Filming Discovery Channel's "The Making of a Coaster" on Lightning Racer at HersheyPark.

- Best ERT session- Beast, at night, no skids...

- Least favorite coaster- Riding Predator at DL, 2003

- Least favorite ride- Drop Zone, KD, not a fan of heights!

- Least favorite park- what?

- Most interesting ride you've seen introduced- The stand up drop tower ride at SFOG

- Least interesting ride you've seen intoduced- That new Unicoaster that Chance is bringing out

- Your favorite TPR moment- Reading many photo TRs while working over night.

- The decade's biggest flop- The way Cedar Fair handled the closing of Geauga Lake

- The decade's biggest success- Holiday World adding Legend, Thanksgiving area, The Voyage, Pilgrim's Plunge, free soft drinks, free parking, free inner tubes, free sun tan lotion. Overall, I'd say they were ahead of the curve by focusing on affordable family fun before it became the trend in the industry the latter half of the decade.

- The best meal you've had at a park - Knoebel's - cheap good food.

- The worst meal you've had at a park - King's Dominion Country Kitchen- got severe case of food poisioning after eating there.

- Best park turnaround- I don't know if it would be the absolute best turnaround of the decade as the turn around isn't complete, but I have to give my nod to Six Flags America. They've greatly improved the overal operation with the guest's enjoyment and satisfaction as one of their top priorities.

- Worst park turnaround- Six Flags Great Adventure for the removal of most of the 1999 War on Lines flat rides pacakge. The additions of Kingda Ka and El Toro were great but there really isn't anything else to do at Great Adventure other than just coasters.

Honorable Mention: Mismanagement and development of Hard Rock Park/Freestyle Music Park

- What was the biggest trend of this past decade- Buying and selling of parks through out the industry. We saw a lot of movement from Premier Parks to Six Flags around the turn of the millennium, Geauga Lake changed hands to Cedar Fair, Cedar Fair's acquisition of the Paramount Parks, and lately the InBev/BEC transacation and the stuff going on with Universal. Parks have been bought and sold like people were playing a game of Monopoly.

- Favorite new coaster

X/X2, for sure. Super intense and disorienting, and when all the effects are working, it's just a mindblowing experience.

- Favorite new ride

Tower of Terror at DCA! I remember first hearing about it coming to California, and being really excited after hearing about its greatness at DHS.

- Favorite new park

The only park that opened this decade that I've been to was DCA. So that, I guess. As far as a 'new' park that appealed to me most: Tokyo DisneySea

- Most memorable park moment

Going to Knott's Haunt for the first time in 2007. Been addicted ever since, and every night that I've gone has been amazing. All the nights I've been to Haunt this decade have been very memorable! Oh, and meeting the Black Eyed Peas at SFMM, the day after my junior Prom.

- Most memorable coaster moment

First time riding TS:TR during Termination Day. Was blown away by both the ride, and that I was actually at a TPR Event, finally! Hahaha. Also, riding BTMRR at Disneyland while it was hailing was quite the experience. Painful... but memorable!

- Best ERT session

Termination Day, night ERT. Great way to end an amazing day at SFMM, it was insane!

- Least favorite coaster

Pony Express... oh man.

- Least favorite ride

Screamin' Swing at Knott's. Not that it's a bad ride, but I was very disappointed in it, especially after paying quite a bit to ride it.

- Least favorite park

I don't have much to choose from and I guess I've never had really any 'bad' experiences, but if I were to choose, DCA.

- Most interesting ride you've seen introduced

Intamin Aquatrax! That, and the 4D coaster from Arrow.

- Least interesting ride you've seen intoduced

Intamin Wing Rider. Looks neat, but something that hasn't really interested me much.

- Your favorite TPR moment (favorite post, trip report, video, whatever!)

My favorites have always been the Japan updates. Termination Day is a highlight for me, since it was my first TPR Event.

- The decade's biggest flop

Hard Rock Park/Freestyle Music Park. No doubt.

- The decade's biggest success

Intamin seemed to be doing great this decade, with great coasters and new innovations.

- The best meal you've had at a park

Clam Chowder/Steak Gumbo at Disneyland. AMAZING.

- The worst meal you've had at a park

I forgot which hot dog it was, but it was a hot dog with nacho cheese and other random crap at the new Pink's at Knott's. Wasn't so good.

- Best park turnaround

SFMM. That park, thanks to new management, has been doing very well lately. Especially when compared to the state the park used to be.

- Worst park turnaround

HRP/FMP

- What was the biggest trend of this past decade?

As said before, the record-breakers of the early part of this decade. Launched coasters seemed to be very popular, also.

-------------------------------------

This past decade has been awesome, in my opinion. Here's to hoping the next decade is as great as this past one... if not even better!

- Favorite new coaster

Goliath [Walibi World]

- Favorite new non coaster ride

Tower Of Terror Tokyo

- Favorite new park

Tokyo Disney at Sea

- Most memorable park moment

My partner guessing the answer for fastest finger at California Adventure on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire & being in the "hot seat".

FYI the question was "name the four bearded presidents in order of service"

- Most memorable coaster moment

For my trip to the USA in 2002 i had pencilled in as THE highlight riding X.

Waiting outside Magic Mountain at 730am to ride X in 2002 for the first time. Watching it go on countless tests. Then rushing up to it on opening time, getting the first ride of the day. Awesome. Then while "beating" the crowd doing a lap of the park ,X broke down & went into months of rehab.

I had 3 days planned for there .but ended up flying to NYC & Six flags Great Adventure & that made up for it nicely.

- Least favorite coaster

Santa Monica West Coaster. LA should represent their famous Pier way better.

- Least favorite park

Dreamworld Gold Coast & Great America CA were the most disappointing, but i'd still revisit both.

- Most interesting ride you've seen introduced

X, Spiderman & Valhalla

- Least interesting ride you've seen intoduced

More SLCs in parks, thanks not!

- Your favorite TPR moment (favorite post, trip report, video, whatever!)

Your first Tokyo trip posting.

- The decade's biggest flop

Son of Beast.

- The decade's biggest success

The great coaster designs. Primarily by Intamin, B&M, Gerstlauer, Mack & The Gravity Group, but many others too. A great decade in innovation.

Also have to note Tokyo Disney at Sea again & Islands Of Adventure for their great themed parks.

- Best park queues

Walibi World & Holiday Park in Europe, for the first few hours no or very little queues for Goliath & Expedition Geforce both years i visited.

Also Geauga Lake my first visit was not long before it closed. I think there was 100 people in the entire park & it was the middle of summer.

- Worst park queues

Fuji Queue

- What was the biggest trend of this past decade?

New coaster designs.

Flyers, Spinners, Divers, the new woods, water coasters, compact coaster designs to name just some.
