Day 5: Its Snack Time! Day 6: Elissa Whack Rodents! Now most parks are closed for the winter, all the fun is being restored for next year and even some new fun being installed, I think it is a good time to take a look back at the fun adventures I have had at parks this year. From Chessington to Liseberg and Bon Bon Land to Alton Towers, this thread will have a new video every day until New Years day with a huge video montage of 2009! The video I decided to start off with was the first main video I produced this year and easily the most viewed video. That video would be Thorpe Park Opening Day 2009, featuring the brand new Saw: The Ride! Helps me get into my "check list" of what I want to ride again, and what I can pass on, this re-visit next summer with the TPR tour, LOL! But I forgot - is the themed area known as "Canada Creek" still ... there? I know the train in that area was removed for building SAW (I think), and there was a log flume back there too, but I can't remember what else they did to the landscape in that part of Thorpe. The train (Canada Creek Railway) is still there, the track got changed slightley when Saw was constructed. The log flume (Loggers Leap) is also still there. We had been at the park for a while and there had been a little rain before me, Robb and Hanno decided to go on the Crazy Mine. At the speed I was going when I hit the tyre wall I was lucky I didn't do some serious damage to myself. It may have been filmed on the big camera, I'm not too sure. That ride being Vertigo. For those of you that don't know what Vertigo is all I can say is watch the video and find out.
