This park is my favorite, has many of my favorites and I really recommend! I'll see you some other time my love! Lisebergbanan is awesome! Believe it or not, but that's the tallest part of the ride. It's like 40 ft? Where do you think we are? Kanonen, best steel in the world. More Lisebergbanan Schwarzkopf layout... The top of the hill has this stuff on the mountain. Note: Lisebergbanan trails everywhere... Balder! Overview, best woodie I ever been on. Back and front, both amazing. I might find a Red Roof Inn somewhere here... Some type of sports field from the Sky Tower. Awesome! This is how you get to the top of the hill. I stand in front of hang time, loopage, and other stuff. Best coaster on the planet. Best shot of the trip. Shows off layout and other sexy parts! Don't spell it Blader.... Kanonen sign, top hat, in one picture. Check! They did a good job not showing off the layout of the ride. Midway madness! The new ride, Hanghai! It wasn't operating at the time. Best log flume pictured above! Note: Flag Color Scheme One S&S tower is a drop tower, the other is a launch tower. Both rested on a hill. Ferris wheel on the hill too! Kanonen towers over the midway! Airtime! Super fast lift hill... Look how close they are together! They travel at 1 MPH at the same time. These rafts are too close together! They were passing one another! How else do you get 3 rafts in one picture?! This picture turned out awesome! These weird head choppers help make it better then El Toro! That's the "Cannon" you will be shot out of! Hangtime Kanonen sits right on top of queues, it's amazing. Over bank goodness pictures above Little tiny fence, giant cart! Hangtime Track supports mess. This place was busy! Sweedish gotta have their burgers.... For the Kanonen lovers out there....ME! Kanonen isn't tall, but still towers over everything! Balder! Jukebox! Check! The Ferris Wheel itself isn't tall, but it's on the top of a hill! Lisebergbanan takes up a lot of the hill too. Kanonen through the trees! Best shot ever! Believe it or not, this is Lisebergbanan's station! The whole roller coaster is on a hill side! By far the worst sign, but best Schwarzkopf I been on! The pink entrance! Note: The color scheme of the park is Pink and Green This observation deck is huge! You can stand up even if you were 20 feet tall! I stand in front of my favorite park in the world Edited December 30, 2012 by robbalvey
GriffyTiffy
Great Shots Jeremie! It's always cool to see photos from a foreign park! (BTW, thanks for the Lisebergbanan photos!)
tanthonyam
Unusual how they did not build the S&S towers next to each other.
Lalle555
^ that's because they weren't built at the same time. Uppskjutet (the Space Shot) was built 1996 and was "given" to Liseberg by Vekoma as compensation for Hang Over, the Inverted Boomerang. Hang Over had some technical problems that made it stay closed for another year and there for Vekoma payed for Uppskjutet (worth 8,1 million SEK, about 1,1 million USD). Höjskräcken (Turbo Drop) was built four years after (2000). Anyhow, great TP and really nice photos of the rides! I'm looking forward to Christmas at Liseberg. I haven't got time to go there yet... Jerrykoala2112
B&Man No problem! Lisebergbanan is my favorite Schwarzkopf, it is an honor to take pictures of such a unique ride! tanthonyam I guess it is a little weird. But keep in mind Lisebergbanan is all over that hill, and it might of been hard to build them together, even when built at separate times. Although it is cool how on one turn from Lisebergbanan, it goes around one of the towers. Lalle555 Thanks! Yea, I was in the shop looking at the post cards, and I saw how they made a Christmas Tree out of the sky tower. It was cool, and I hope you enjoy your time! But do the roller coasters operate in the Christmas even? Thanks for the feedback!

DBru
Great PTR! Liseberg looks like an absolutely amazing park. While they don't have the largest collection of coasters, I've heard nothing but praise for the ones they do have. Plus, the other rides, theming, and landscaping look great. This is one park I am determined to get to sometime in my life.

Jerrykoala2112
There is one other trip report of this park, so I think it is neat being the 2nd! But Ölands Djur & Nöjespark is a Zoo, Water Park, and Theme Park. It is mostly a zoo, with a fairly medium sized water park, and a pretty carnival like theme park. The zoo is mostly birds, reptiles, and apes. Let's end this PTR on a positive note Not that exciting, but the whole park was carnival rides, even though it is a real theme park. Merry-go-around. Then in the back back is a dark ride! It stinks. In English, it means "Africa Express" The new roller coaster... We sat in the back! And took this ;D This is the parks Wacky Worm! The ground is gravel, wasn't too crowded either! This is the new roller coaster for 2009. I came to this park in 2003, and they have a roller coaster called "Jumbo Jet" which was a schwarzkopf. But I guess they took it down for this... It stopped raining and everything was testing. This one called shotgun! Note: All the goats when on the side of the house where the roof covers it. They are smarter then we may think! It started hailing a lot. It cleared up fast! It started raining...and we didn't reach the theme park yet. I love this picture! I think the lemur liked it too Am I the only one in here that watched Zaboomafoo? Hmmm, 2 cubs and the mama lion pictured above! I'm not going near that... I think it is sleeping, or its neck is really sore! Llama! Starburst Enjoyment Pose # 67 Is it romantic in the monkey world to eat what you have in your hair? He posed for me! This is a monkey model! Someone's fed up with the paparazzi! Baby! This is my new master! Parrot... Hmmm, not sure what this is. But I took a picture of it anyways! Can anyone see both birds? They blend in very well! Are they huddling together to stay warm? For such a little zoo, I was surprised they had this! Huddle together to stay warm! If anyone knows what this is, they get a cooking by someone else buy me! Flamingos are pink by the pink shrimp they eat... These little critters couldn't stop climbing on stuff! Turtle suspended in water. Did someone lose all his/her friends? One of these bunnies has a stalker. Note: The Guinea Pig sleeping in the basket! Awww, look at their little bodies hop around! Isn't is a cute bunny! It's a puff ball with a face. I find the length of snakes fascinating! The snakes weren't moving. They were either sleeping or dead... Someone needs to stop eating... The largest frog, toad I have ever seen! Had my friend stick her finger in the picture to show off how giant it is! I think if I kiss it... Keep in mind lots of these monkeys can't stop moving, so they might appear blurry. And I am also taking pictures through glass. But isn't this monkey awesome?! He just found out could have saved 15% on his car insurance by switching to Geico Ölands Djur & Nöjespark The carts were cute! This is the one we sat in, but they had a lion and a tiger carts too! *forgot to add this photo*

Jerrykoala2112
Do you have a picture of facade of the Spook House/Dark Ride/Ghost Train that is hiding behind the carousel in one of your photos? I am sorry but I don't. My camera battery died when I was taking pictures in line for Afrika Expressen. So I just took pictures quickly of the midway before they died. Sorry again. CorkscrewFoley
So was that one pic of the lions the only big cats there, or was there more? I'm more interested in the cats than I am in monkeys, but that's just me. Nice TRs though, Liseberg is always gorgeous and the second park is quirky... Maggot2
Ölands Djur och Nöjespark is a very bad place. None of the ops know Swedish or English. The food is overpriced and some parts in the park smells like pee. CorkscrewFoley; they got tigers.

Jerrykoala2112
Thanks everyone for the replies! I really am thankful! And thanks Robb for including this thread in the recent email! Much Appreciated! ------------------------------------------------------------------ On September 6th, 2009, I headed to Michigan's Adventure. It was Labor Day weekend, so I just wanted a visit before the park closed for the year. Shall we head onto the photos? 'Till next time Michigan's Adventure! Thanks for reading and looking everyone! To end this report. Here is my favorite shot I took this day. Enjoy! If you guess a car mirror, then you got it right! Look at Mad Mouse backwards! Anyone know how I did it? Mad Mouse was very nice, and smooth! Banked turns were much appreciated! The parks other kiddie roller coaster is Big Dipper. I enjoyed it more than Zach's Zoomer. This ride also offers some airtime! The park did a nice job keeping the rides from braking down! Only once did I catch 1 ride that has stopped, which is pictured above! Go Michigan's Adventure! Zach's Zoomer is the park's Kiddie Wooden roller coaster. Rode the front, and it was pretty gentle but everyone had fun! Michigan's Adventure doesn't really have thrill rides. All I can think of is their boat rocker and this. Falling Star was pretty fun, gave some nice breezes and views. My thoughts on Shivering Timbers? I rode both front and back. All I can say is that it is fairly smooth, lots of airtime, and has a great layout! Very impressed! The ride is massive! It just goes on forever in one direction, then returns back! It's 2 minutes of airtime! My attempt to take a picture of Wolverine Wildcat. It seems sort of like the Coney Island Cyclone, but with its own twist! Thunderhawk spices up the midway a lot. Very spicy indeed! Some foot choppers! I rode it again in the back, and it is ice smooth in any seat! I recommend it mainly because it isn't your average SLC! I sat in the front. Might I say this is one of the best inverted coasters I been on? Behind Dueling Dragons and Great Bear! I tilted the camera to try to fit as much of the lift as possible. Support work is very nice! The colors of the ride will still fresh. The ground was also very clean. Either really dark brown or nice green grass. I was impressed with how neat and in order everything looked. Read the picture... These are like twin water slides, but located in the theme park side. You don't get wet, but I recommend riding them. I waited around half an hour for this ride. The park wasn't busy, just this ride only runs one cart. No fond of this way of operating the ride. One thing did get annoying. Michigan's Adventure placed the 2 largest roller coasters on the opposite sides of the park. Didn't bug me enough though, I still loved this place! Wolverine Wildcat has got to be *hands down* the best Dinn roller coaster out there. It was smooth, produced lots of airtime, and overall was a great ride experience! The park layout isn't all that bad, I kind of like it all being around the lake. You just have to walk a lot to get from one point of the park to the other! I hope this shows how chaotic the supports, layout, and walkways are on the ride. The Ferris Wheel was nicely placed in the middle of the midway. So you could see anything when you were on top of it. Pretty colors aswell! Corkscrew was a pretty vibrant colors coaster, but we'll discuss this ride later! The entrance. I noticed they don't have the security detectors stuff when you entered. I never knew this Mad Mouse was built by Arrow until a couple days prior, so I was very excited to ride a banked mouse coaster! Airtime to the 3rd power! You are greeted by the one, and only, Shivering Timbers!

Airtime&Gravity
Great trip report, and it sounds like you have a lot of the opinions of the park that I do. Shivering Timbers is awesome, and for some reason, Wolverine Wildcat is incredibly smooth. Although, unlike my visit, the park looks like it was dead when you went, and even though a packed Michigan's Adventure isn't that bad, you can tell it doesn't handle crowds well. Again, great trip report and photos, and it just reminds me to try to make another visit up to it this year. Airtime - although, MA really needs some larger rides - &Gravity
