jray21 0
I would much rather have something, than nothing. I'm always for more theming and decorations.

Randomman295 0
That looks like an incredibly close call. I'm assuming they've already done envelope testing?
RCT3Bross 4
Picture from twitter from a few days ago. (Sorry Couldn't get it bigger ) As we can see it's going to make it. But to be sure I don't keep my hands next to the train.
Hilltopper39 35
Cool little addition...seems like parks are realizing these near-miss elements make the wingriders a better experience. Â Agree, I wish Dollywood would find a way to install a keyhole element somehow or another on Wild Eagle.
B&MIntaminGCI 0
I want to see this testing backwards.... Â Why has that not happened yet?
jray21 0
That's a great looking sign! I think it would be great if a few people got their arms ripped off. If would definitely go along with the theming.
SharkTums 264
I want to see this testing backwards.... Â Why has that not happened yet? Â Because you touch yourself.
BeemerBoy 0
That looks like an incredibly close call.I'm assuming they've already done envelope testing? No, they're just guesstimating. Â Â "Take a flight into Hell." SFA should have trademarked this years ago.
andybarnes84 0
"Take a flight into Hell."Â SFA should have trademarked this years ago. Â I always thought SFA stood for Six Flags Apocalypse, and then when I arrived to find their "new" floorless coaster wasn't called "America", dissapointment and confusion prevailed. Â The new sign at Thorpe looks great, exactly what the ride needed as I always felt the near miss with the church wasn't particularly effective. RCT3Bross 4
Take a Look at the 2013 park map, With billboard and swarm cars backwards, and of coarse Crash Pad. But that's not really worth talking about. Look at X:/ No Way Out or to be better X. It seems they renamed the ride, I also understood that no X's page on the site it mentioned that you run the entire ride backwards and this is removed: http://thorpepark.com/rides/x-no-way-out.aspx What's going on here? Did they only renamed it or did they even reversed the trains making it run forwards? What do you guy's think?
chickenbowl 1
^That has got to be the worst park map I've ever seen.
RollerCoasterSmi 0
^ It isn't honestly too bad (in my opinion). I mean in the park all the rides are quite tall so you just see the ride & walk towards it! Â It also has lots of details which are hilarious...
BudtheWeiser 0
Nah its the same style they have used for years,Its not like its a hard park to navigate anyway debating whether to go to passholder's day tomorrow as the forecast is for 0 degrees with a windchill of -4 not sure that's coaster riding weather yet
snoflake15 0
^ refreshing!
BudtheWeiser 0
It certainly would be that lol will be more like a tad Bracing
BudtheWeiser 0
From thorpe park manias live feed from today's family and friends day here's the swarm backwards.
RCT3Bross 4
It has something when I look at it. I mean seeing it makes me exited to go to the park this summer.
spinning man 0
I'm not really a fan of rides that go backwards, and seeing those images make me feel abit sick. Hopefully, this ride will not be so rough on stomach and I will enjoy it. But I think they should've changed at least 3 rows backwards instead of 2.
matteocrepaldi 0
I'm glad I visited Thorpe Park last year so I could enjoy the back seat! From my very few experiences on bacward rides I can say that I better stay away from them.
BudtheWeiser 0
I'll let you know just after 12 lol as for the new billboard its a great double head chopper as you also get a near miss on the side as you go round it.
BudtheWeiser 0
Well the first drop seems more forceful backwards especially the spin into the drop the rest of the ride feels much the same so if you like it its fine if you don't it won't convert you.
Geauga Dog 1
The train looks odd with the space between the forward and backward facing seats. Maybe B&M should create winged trains with Invertigo-style face to face seating.
