XII
Since the Ventura County Fair was out in town for the past few weeks and I haven't seen many Photo TRs from this place. This year, the fair was pretty interesting. This year, the selection of rides was good as usual. For coasters, They had a small spinning coaster called Pole Position and a Wacky Worm. As well as these two coasters, they had a bunch of awesome flat rides as well as some pretty interesting foods. And now I'll get on to the photos since that's what most of the people look for in a Photo TR. And this concludes the Ventura County Fair for this year. Hope you enjoyed the Photo TR. Read caption above. More awesome fair rides at night. Mega Drop at night. When the sun goes down, the fair lights up. "Hey, it's not nearly as bad as you think it is." While the fair has many greasy and unhealthy foods, there isn't anything here quite as greasy and unhealthy as Chocolate Covered Bacon. You know, I could use of these things in my bedroom. My feet would really appreciate it. Well, looks like dinner is served. No caption is needed. More Mega Drop as it's the star attraction of the fair. Another crazy fair flat ride. While it's a fun ride and all, I don't care for it's presence at the Ventura County Fair as it replaced my personal favorite flat ride, the Zipper. And that in the distance is indeed Mega Loop. Oh yeah. Here's another crazy flat ride at the Ventura County Fair. This one is called Spin Out. Mega Drop from the Ferris Wheel. The Ventura County Fair from the Ferris Wheel. Cha Ching. Oh yeah, they've now got a Wacky Worm at the Ventura County Fair. Here's a fun slide they've got at the Ventura County Fair. The Reverchon and Zamperla Crazy Mice are much better than this. Here's the only part of the ride where you actually pick up any speed. If you've been on that new spinning coaster at Castle Park, then you've pretty much been on Pole Position. Up next would be Pole Position, the fair's crappy spinning coaster. "Damn it. That was my favorite hat." Definitely worth the $35.00 Yeah, that's more like it. So I decided to try Bungee Jumping. As much fun Mega Drop is for a carnival drop tower, I felt like I could do something even better. "Mega Drop VS Xtreme. FIGHT!!!" Up next is Mega Drop, the Drop Tower at the fair. Continuing the trend of awesome flat rides, we rode Techno Power, which is basically a scrambler on steroids. It actually runs a pretty good program. In fact, aside from the Giant Frisbees, this is my favorite frisbee. Up next, Xtreme. The frisbee at the Ventura County Fair. "Hey Knotts! Look what the Ventura County Fair can do with their Top Spin!" Windsurf is the Ventura County Fair's Top Spin. Up next, Windsurf. Aside from the pain it can bring to your legs at times, it's a pretty good ride. First crazy flat ride of the day would be Hard Rock. We're here at the Ventura County Fair. ebl
Thank you for posting this Photo TR of our local fair. I had planned to go today, but just wasn't up to it. Over the years, I have been, and it tends to be the same year after year after year after year... Pole Position = FAIL!!1! I rode it about three years ago. Never again. BTW, it's a Fabbri ride. The nerd in me made me ask the operator after the ride was over. What was funny at that time is that not only did he answer me, he also said that it was better than the similar German rides! I tried chocolate covered bacon at the Orange County Fair last month. It wasn't bad, but not something that I'd eat a lot of. Eric
