Jizz Man's 2009 TPR Texas Trip!

Recommended Posts

Awesome dude! I agree that the animal exhibits I saw at SeaWorld were a little bit lacking, the park was really different than my home one. Texas was blast though, great pics!

Yeah, I had no idea that when I was taking pictures of the dolphins; I had to pay to be over there! I wasn't feeding them or anything, just taking pictures.

It was awesome to relieve the trip in about 20 minutes! I miss it so much, being on that trip was certainly one of the best times I ever had.

Zach, you took some great pictures on this trip, and should definatly continue to take them as you do so well with the photography! Looking forward to the chance to catch up sometime in the future!

Steel Eel is my 2nd favorite coaster (behind Tatsu). I rode in the back seat with a full train. WOW! The airtime was incredible.

I love SWSA, but I feel like something is missing. There wasn't a whole lot there, and some of the animal exhibits seemed neglected. Dolphin Cove, it was just a tank. Didn't look like their natural environment or anything. Other than that, I really like this park!

Nice Pictures, I went to SWSA In December of 2009, and I can agree with others who said it's lacking on the exhibit side of things. They had lots of concrete and not much else.

Besides Steel Eel

Everyone says that Great White is super intense, I'm not sure why but when I rode it I found it to be rather lame and I actually liked Goliath at SFFT better..... It was a really cold morning, I'm sure that's why. I'd love to ride that thing when It's 100 out!

Great white is around 100' shorter than other B:TR clones. So I'm assuming it makes the elements a bit tighter. I thought it was pretty intense. Goliath was just "meh" to me. Most people find Great White to be more intense than others.

Yeah, that's why I thought it would be better, but I must have caught it on a bad day or something. My favorite BTR clone is the original one at Six Flags Great America. It just seems like its so much better then the others in my opinion

Yeah, people talked about how it's different, I thought it was pretty intense. Batman at SFOG seemed the most intense to me, I rode twice and had a headache. Great White was just very good all around, and yes Goliath seemed to be lacking...but it looked nice and shiny!

Thanks for the comments everyone

Great report! We visited that park in the misty rain a couple of years back but it was still a treat. For the record, Steel Eel has been my #1 steel since then. I just loved the drop and the pops. It's just such a *fun* coaster. Thanks for the great pictures!
