Dear lord this thing is HUGE! That Immelmann looks like its going to be insane! I wonder how long itll take for them to complete the track. I hadnt heard much since the top-off, but it's good to know they're still working on it.

That loop is MASSIVE! but doesn't really compare to the lift hill. I seriously can't wait for this anymore.

Griffon should definitely be an amazing installation at BGE next year! That Immelman looks beautiful. BGEscape will be attending the next hardhat tour this month sometime, so we'll definitely have some nice pictures of what they have up so far!

Man look how close the Immelman is to the Cable Cars! Gonna make for some awesome photos, maybe even better than Great Bear and there Skyride.

I rode by on the train the other day 1-4-06 (sorry forgot my camera) and it just dominates BGE skyline now. It just dwarfs Alpengeist from my angle, It is very impressive looking. The Immelman was complete but still no work on the 1st drop.

I will try to remember my camera next time

1st drop's really gonna make me want to scream out loud and i felt

it was like i'm gonna get kicked my heart. looks like it's bit taller

than Sheikra because of uneven land like Holiday World.

Yes, a member on the BGEscape forums that has consistently been getting us small photo updates reported yesterday that the drop is indeed complete. He's proven to be a reliable source in the past, so I have no doubt his report is true this time too! We'll be attending the hardhat tour which will likely be schedule sometime in the next few weeks, so you all can expect an extensive update from that event!

Griffon is going to be opening up late spring. the construction for it is coming along quite well. if you are looking for new updated pictures buschgardens has posted new ones up on their site.

Meh, at the rate they're going, this ride will be done before Memorial Day weekend. If the weather holds up (today it was close to 80 degrees!) then I'd say we're looking at a late April opening

i'll probably make the trip down if i'm driving by opening day, I'll probably get the fun pass thing (its basicly a season pass for VA residents where you pay once and you can go like all summer or somthing) like i did last year
